Great Experience!
Great place to buy a used car for a great price! Kim Bartys helped me find my Buick Enclave! We must have drove 5 to 6 Enclaves in one day and Kim was patient, organized and just down right friendly! The price was fair and very competitive! I was even able to get the best interest rate for my loan! Great place to buy a used car. I would definitely send friends and family to Schafer Chevrolet! What's even crazier is that I drove 200 miles to shop here. That home town feeling is always a plus! I love my Enclave! Thank you Kim Bartys!

Great customer service!

Pinconning dealership
Dan Delano sold me my first vehicle and I can honestly say I have never had better service. With still being very young he helped me understand the process of buying a car and help me choose the right car for me. I love my new Chevy Trax and I'm so glad that I went to Dan. Poor customer service and vehicle service
My husband and I Spent $38,000 on a 2016 vehicle with less than 9,000 miles and it had a clean carfax. We should have inspected the vehicle better rather than trusting the car dealer. The truck was turned over to us with an empty gas tank [they said they provide a free 5 gallons...gee thanks]; when I bought my Ford the Ford dealer filled the tank FULL (although gas is a minor issue I just had better service elsewhere). Once arriving home we realized the driver side turn signal did not work. Simple enough fix, just not expected since it was bought 2 HOURS prior. Eric was notified, he said to bring it in they would look at the light. We dont live in the area so it was simpler to just replace it ourselves. 3 days later my husband replaced the bulb. He notices the coolant is low, brake fluid is low, and the oil was at least a quart low...On a vehicle purchased 4 days prior. He immedietly called the dealership and asked to talk the the garage (as its not a complaint on our sales associate but who ever services the vehicles). He was told that "they have already left for the day, sorry but they leave at 6pm"....that explains a lot because the call was placed at 5:40pm, 20 minutes before "closing". A call was placed to the sales manager and a message was left. Eric returned our call the next day (not the sales manager) and simply stated that "the dealership is sorry, It was one of the mechanics last day and hes already 'checked out' and the dealership is just really sorry". Not willing to make anything right, did not offer an oil change or to check the levels of the other fluids..they're just sorry. We all have jobs to do whether its our last day or not. That is unless you work at Schafer Chevrolet, it is not a priority for this business to sell vehicles with proper fluids that are essential for a vehicle run. I took our vehicle that was purchased 4 days ago in for a $65 oil change after spending $38,000. I read someone elses complaint here and the dealership responed with "we do a fresh oil change on every single vehicle before we park it on our lot". The vehicle we purchased was put on your lot no more than 4-5 months ago, the recipt from my oil change even states "OIL WAS 1 QUART LOW" ...now how does that happen if a "fresh" oil change was done 4 months ago? I know, I know...you guys are just really sorry. I understand things happen but the lack of care to make things right and the excuse of "hes already checked out" is just careless.

We understand your frustrations, however your review, and your husband's review don't match. You claim he called in at 5:40pm, but according to our records (and his statement) he called in at 5:52pm and 5:53pm. Your husband also claims in his review that we didn't offer to do anything about the issue, however you state "Eric was notified, he said to bring it in they would look at the light." As for the gas situation, we only put 5 gallons in to keep our vehicle price low. According to the inspection on the vehicle you purchased, everything checks out, but a car is a machine and some things are out of our control, like you said the vehicle had been on our lot for 4-5 months. Again you're more than welcome to bring it and have it looked at.

I found a truck online that they had so I contacted the dealership and Kim answer, needless to say I needed a truck now and the one I was after still had not made it through their inspection process so after 3 days of waiting I found another one in a different state, so I called Kim to tell her that found a truck and she continued to help me even though I wasn't buying a truck from her. She was making sure that they did their job right.lol

Saw a car online, went in to look at it, wasn't for us. Worked with Kim and she found us a great car well within our budget. She went above and beyond for us from the test drive to the financing to driving away in our new to us vehicle. Will never work with anyone else! Kim Bartys rocks!

Above and Beyond!!
Kim Bartys went above and beyond to help me out. Not only did she find me a car I love, but she did it and one day! I live in the UP and was home for holiday parties and I got in an accident which ended up with a totalled vehicle for me and no way home. She found the perfect vehicle for what I was looking for and I was able to take it home that day. And she even made sure to get my radio replaced by the dealership when she realized we didn't test the radio before settling on my car. Thank you so much!!
