My New car .....2014 ford Edge...?
My husband and I have been looking for a car now for several months . And today we decided to stop at Schafer in Pinconning. we were greeted by a young lady named Kimberly Bartys. She seemed very knowledgeable , my husband and I did not feel pressured to buy unlike other dealerships that we have previously been to we feel like our overall experience at this dealership was exceptional and we would highly recommend both the dealership and the sales representative that worked with us today. we applaud the dealership for the wonderful buying experience we had.

Making used car buying simple
I purchased a used F-150 through this dealership. The way they do business is a bit different. No negotiation, which I initially thought was weird. However, the dealership investigates similar vehicles and their pricing within a 100 mile radius and prices their vehicles so you?re getting the best deal possible. I highly recommend this dealership.

Very happy customer!
After doing some truck shopping online, I found a couple I liked at Schafer. Their prices were better than any other in the area. I contacted Kim and she was very helpful and quick to send me pictures of the truck I inquired about. Went there the next day and she showed me the 2 trucks I was interested in. What I liked most was that she just gave us the keys, answered any questions we had, and then just let us look on our own without having to hover over us the whole time like many other sales people I've dealt with in the past. This was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience I've had. Kim was absolutely great to work with and I highly recommend Schafer! Very happy with the truck. Thanks Kim!

Awesome dealership!
This was my first car purchase, and my dad and I drove an hour and a half to look at a used car they had on their website. Kim was so helpful with setting up a time to see the car, and was so awesome with the buying process! She was patient and kind, and was genuinely happy for me to get the car of my dreams. Kim is amazing and my dad said he will definitely be back to this dealership for when we need another used car. The car itself was clean and at a great price. I?m so happy with it!

Kim is the best!
I reached out to Kim at Schafer Chevrolet about a listing I noticed for a Jeep. I recently purchased a truck from another dealer and didn't realize what I was getting into. I decided I wanted to consider trading my truck in for a different vehicle. After talking with Kim about my situation, she advised me that it might not be the smartest decision. She didn't pressure me and feed me a bunch of bull to try to sell me a vehicle like my last sales person did at another location. She was stadight forward and honest and had my best interest in mind! Can't thank her enough for that. Best believe I will be doing business with her in the future! You rock Kim

Very unhelpful sales staff.
I've contacted this dealer twice. The first time was about a Buick Terazza . I had them schedule me for a test drive for this vehicle, but they called me about two hours before I was supposed to test drive it and cancelled because they found out that they already sold that vehicle. The second time was two weeks ago about a 2009 Chevrolet Equinox. The saleswoman told me that it was in their service shop, but wasn't very clear on what the repair was. She said it was a cylinder and that it wouldn't be ready to drive until that was fixed, but she would call me as soon as it was ready. I haven't heard back from her since. If they can fix something in that time frame, they need to start looking for new mechanics. I doubt that was the case though. My assumption is she forgot about me right after she hung the phone after talking to me. I've never seen a place with a sales staff that act like they don't want to sell anything, but they've got one.

Thank you for your feedback. We do apologize you weren't followed up a second time. We have a very thorough follow up process and that is not the norm. We will look into what we can do to prevent it from happening again. As for the Terraza, we move over 150+ units a month. Therefore, vehicles do often sell before customers can make it in to the store. All of our sales staff are great people and do truly care. Sometimes when things move quickly, we have to adjust our processes to keep things operating correctly. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review, and thank you for your feedback.

Mandatory surcharge for $229 per vehicle
Paperwork says window etching is optional and we said we were not interested in the coverage and wanted to remove the $229 fee. Joseph insisted it was mandatory. The certificate of coverage isn't even valid, there is no guarantor information, no claim submission information and was unsigned by the dealership or the coverage company. Our experience did not live up to their reputation or their stated philosophy on their website.

We pride ourselves on being an honest and upfront dealership. Unlike most dealerships, we are transparent about our fees and make sure to disclose all benefits to the customer prior to purchase. There are multiple benefits our customers receive from the Anti-Theft System including insurance policy discounts. Rest assured any certificate we supply with a vehicle is valid and we can help submit a claim if need. Although it is included in every purchase, at the end of the day our vehicles are hundreds and often thousands less out the door than our competitions. Straightforward
Headed here after a nightmare experience with a used car dealer in Detroit. Joseph C. offered to send close-up pics of any dings, stains, and wear on tires before we made the drive, just in case any were deal-breakers. He was very polite and friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, and at no time did I feel pressured to buy. After we decided to purchase, he helped us set up the hands-free dialing and ordered a new radio antenna(which we noticed was missing). Their shop was somewhat busy so we weren't able to have the front and rear tires switched around as my husband wanted, but other than that, they were able to accommodate our requests. While the paperwork was being processed, he gave us recommendations for nearby restaurants so we didn't have to sit and wait in the dealership office. Overall, a pretty stress-free car buying experience; which is saying a lot! Three day money back guarantee as well. I would definitely recommend them, and I would tell anyone looking to buy to ask for Joe C.
