Horrible experience
We just returned home from Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda and our entire family is traumatized. We had been working with a sales person named Mike Walsh. The experience initially seemed to be low pressure until we asked more questions about the low ball offer for our trade in and was presented with a final offer that we were not interested in. Mike told us we had to listen to him tell us about their warranty options, despite us telling him we are not interested in an extended manufacturer warranty on a Honda (this is always a bad choice with a Honda's-they just don't break down!) We asked several times for our car keys back (which were given to the dealership so that we could have our trade in assessed for value); however, Mike would make another excuse and then return without our keys. We attempted to leave the dealership, but Mike and another male working at the front desk avoided giving us our keys. I had to demand that they give us our keys and upon them doing so, was told, "Fine. Only because your children are here". We will never go back, we will never recommend this dealership, and would suggest never purchasing from this dealership. Steer clear!

Regarding the warranty options, we don’t mean to be a bother, but Mike is correct in letting you know that we do require our sales consultants to go over all of the options with our guests when purchasing a vehicle. It wouldn’t be fair to you not to provide you with all of the information about what protection you could have on your vehicle, in the event something happened to it in the future. It’s our understanding that Alberto, the sales manager assisting you, did provide you with your keys as soon as you asked for them. There may be more to this situation but we want to grant you the respect and privacy you deserve on this platform. Our General Manager, Tim Nelson, has reached out to you regarding your experience, and if you would like to speak to him about your concerns in detail, he would be happy to hear back from you.
He did not return my keys, I had to ask him 5 times and then when he gave them back he said, " I'm giving you back the keys because your kids are here" I did not engage with him, I seriously thought he wanted to fight me or something. Your manager did not act in integrity or honor, he acted like a slime ball. Personally I was not ready to buy. My credit score was not what I thought it was, I didn't like the percentage rate, I simply was not ready to buy. When we wanted to leave, he kept pushing me to buy and I was not interested. Back to the keys, I had to raise my voice to get him to give them back, simply unacceptable. Mike was okay, he played the good guy, I think he was hoping for the sale but noticed I was not happy so he just apologized...I just want to say, it was the worst experience I have ever had and I will continue to tell my experience with anyone that will listen... Best Car Buying Experience EVER
On Labor Day weekend, my husband and I travelled to Portland to visit family and help our daughter purchase her first car. We had all done our research and headed over to Bob Lanphere's to check out a couple of used vehicles. Loved the One Price One Person model and really appreciated the time, attention to our needs and knowledge of our sales consultant, Kyle. I soooo wanted to be the bad cop in this car buying experience, but that role was unnecessary because Kyle was transparent about the models, financing programs and incentives available for our daughter. She drove away in a newly leased HR-V at a price that fit her budget and we flew home knowing she was driving a safe and reliable vehicle. THANK YOU, Kyle, for the great experience and customer-focused deal.

First Time Buyer
My husband usually buys our cars but this time I had to find a car, contact the dealer and head off into the vast unknown. I found a Honda CRV i liked and contacted Freddie, a sales manager,at Beaverton Honda, made arrangements to head from Roseburg to Portland look at a used Honda CRV. I liked the fact that the price they advertise is firm and that there's no hassle about pricing This was a pleasant experience all the way around. The salesman, Paul, was very friendly and helpful and by the end of the day I was the owner of a Honda CRV. They agreed to fix a number of things I pointed out needing to be addressed and when I picked up my CRV everything was fixed, the vehicle was cleaned inside and out, the oil changed and I was able to drive my new vehicle home. I've already made recommendations to a number of friends and co-workers to go to Bob Lamphere's Beaverton Honda when they are ready to buy a car.

Smooth and Professional
Our experience was smooth and informative. The employees were kind, relaxed, and trustworthy. We were given a sticker price ahead of time so we knew exactly what to expect. We bought a slightly used Mazda CX5 and were extremely happy with our purchase. Workers patiently addressed all of our questions and answered them completely. Robert was our sales and leasing consultant, and Freddy was tbe manager to work with us. Both were professional and helpful throughout the duration of our visit. Thanks for a positive experience!

Fair Price from the Start
Beaverton Honda was the second dealership we interacted with looking for a used 2015 Mazda CX5. Granted, this vehicle was a trade-in so they may have been trying to get it off their hands, they offered us a fair price right off the bat. We were secured a price guarantee and after researching other dealerships deals I found Beaverton Honda to offer the best deal. Not only this, but there was no haggling nor coercion when I started asking about pricing/financing options. The consultant I worked with was named Robert Soto, and he was professional and friendly. He seemed mildly inexperienced, however he had a network of support to ensure my experience was positive. Robert was honest and helpful, helping my wife and I connect with an insurance broker on a whims notice as well as helping us sort out complicated issues we had coming into the dealership (coming out of college and transfering titles on vehicles made our transactions confusing). Freddie Ortega also assisted us in some of our higher level interactions with the finance team and management. He was friendly and had a fun personality, I enjoyed working with him as well. This dealership made me feel at home. I highly recommend this dealership and am looking forward to my interactions with them in the future!!!

Continually disappointed
I don't think I've ever had a decent experience with the Beaverton Honda service center. Wait times are long and they nickel and dime you for everything. In fact the only reason I scheduled this time was because of a factory recall. The second one in two years. And they scheduled me for the wrong day (and booked a rental car which I did not order) so I had to completely rearrange my schedule. I will not be returning.

First brand new vehicle purchase.
After having a new car itch, and waiting for the 2017 Civic Si to be released, I finally found one I liked! I gave Pete Young a call went in early to secure a Pearl White Sedan, it was a long and worthwhile wait (car was still being built when it showed up in Bob Lanphere's inbound inventory.) I got the call, it had finally arrived and couldn't have been happier. Pete and I sat down one on one, signed papers, added some accessories to the car deal and handed over the money I had to put down along with my trade. The experience was easy, and very painless, told them what I wanted to got with the car and what I ideally wanted to pay each month. I was in and out of there in a very short amount of time and Pete even walked me through the vehicle features before my departure. I look forward to potential future purchases and experiences with this dealership!
