FIsher Volvo - excellent service

Great customer service, detailed informed responses - thanks Paul.Checked out brakes but no pressure to service. Ruth Fisher - owner, remembered my name and was aware of which of our two Volvos was in for service today. She is on top of the business!

Great deal, hassle-free

Good communication from Tom Kirby. He worked with me to get the deal I wanted; he was not intrusive with follow-up, and utilized the communication method that best works for me (email), instead of calling my phone a bunch.

Jim Fisher Volvo Service

I recently had my 30,000 mile servicing done on my Volvo C30. The assistance of both Nick and Rich (when Nick wasn't available) was absolutely top-notch as it's always been. They both went out of their way to be supremely helpful. Nick, who has been my service person since buying my C30 from Jim Fisher in 2013, has always gone above and beyond in his work with me and the care of my vehicle. As a recent widow at way too young an age, I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for this help and support. I always feel that I am getting the honest assessment of what my vehicle needs and how it's doing. This is infinitely appreciated and is why I am a loyal customer.

C & V Simpson

The 2013 XC 70 was purchased from Tom Kirby for the European Delivery Program. He made the process very easy. The entire program is financially beneficial and a lot of fun. That was our 4th car from Fisher, but won't be our last. The service desk is very efficient and friendly. All work we've ever had done there was perfect. We have met other Volvo owners while walking through our neighborhood in Salem, and they all said they buy and get service from Ruth/Jim Fisher.

Jim Fisher Volvo = Fantastic

The atmosphere was far different than any I visited over the week I spent looking at cars. Jim Fisher Volvo was professional and low pressure. They were so confident in their cars, they let them be the center of the conversation. They answered every question I had and were extremely accommodating. I felt incredibly comfortable in the sales process and with my choice in cars.

Excellent Service

Marvin in the Service Dept is AWESOME. I called to inquire about getting a 'Used Car Check-up' for a Volvo my son's girlfriend was about to purchase from a private person. Marvin spent a great deal of time with me on the phone and then was able to research the history of the car. He gave us great information about this particular car and also his recommendations. He clearly went out of his way to be helpful, while being polite and patient. I really look forward to more future business with the Service Dept.

Great internet sales service

This was, by far, the best internet sales service we had from a brand dealer. Responsive, friendly, and worked hard to find us the right deal, with follow-up. As it turned out, the model for which we were looking - a C30 - didn't come with the options we wanted or our price range, except a recent return. it turned out that it was repurchased by the manufacturer. So ... we ended up looking for other - used - Volvo's in our price range. For that, we recommend AAA AutoSource. A number of our neighbors have used them with satisfaction as well. As it turns out, AutoSource did have one minor issue addressed by their preferred dealer - Jim Fisher! If you are in the Portland area, we would recommend Jim Fisher over Herzog-Meier, where the service was indifferent, with no follow-up.
