Worth The Five Hour Drive to Buy a Car

My husband and I had been car shopping for several months and found a car online at Subaru of Puyallup. We live about a five hour drive away in Central Oregon, but had read good things about this dealership. We drove up to look at the vehicle and it was as described in the online listing. From the moment we stepped onto the lot until we drove the car away, we were treated completely professionally. This is a straight-up run business that sells cars at a fair value. Our salesperson was Dima and he was great. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, patient with my multitude of questions and exceptionally articulate. I can't say enough good things about him. The negotiation process was calm, fair and I ended up with a great fair market rate on a great vehicle. And, although we had been pre-qualified at a fairly good rate, they were able to beat the rate and save us some money. This is a family run business and it shows. Thank you team Subaru of Puyallup. A special thanks to Helmut. Your Voodoo Doughnuts are on their way.

Amazing service

Love our new Subaru Forester Touring

In December 2018 we took our 2016 Forester in to Subaru of Puyallup for regular maintenance. While there, we talked to our Salesman, George Mayfield, about purchasing an all new 2019 Subaru Forester Touring. George is always friendly and ready to help us anyway possible so we ordered our new car on the spot. It arrived yesterday and is everything we wanted. No stress in the purchasing, no delays, just extremely good quality help. We wouldn’t think of buying a new car anywhere else. Subaru of Puyallup is the best all around car dealership. George is an expert in what he does and knows his cars inside and out.

Subaru of Puyallup new 2019 Crosstek

I want to thank Mary Macfarlane and Kim from Subaru of Puyallup, Mary was super nice, helpful, and informative. I bought my first new car last week, and I couldn't have had a better experience. From entering the dealership to driving away in my new 2019 Crosstek, amazing, amazing service. Thank you Mary for helping me choose and buy my Crosstek, and thanks to Kim for finalizing all the paperwork. I recommend Subaru of Puyallup wholeheartedly, a great place to find your next Subaru! Bad communication = bad car buying experience

While looking online, I found that one dealership advertised itself as "STRESS-FREE" (capitalization is theirs). They will email you their best offer on a specific car and then you can make an appointment to go in for said car, which is what I did. No negotiating about the price sounded great. So I drove 45 minutes to Subaru of Puyallup on Saturday morning (instead of going to Ballard less than 10 minutes away). I had emailed with the internet sales team about a specific vehicle and agreed upon a price. It then took 4.5 hours before I was driving off with said car! The terrible communication throughout the day caused this to very much not be a stress-free experience, had they communicated how long it would take at the beginning it would have entirely changed my experience. At no point did anyone ask if I was available to wait that long. I sent an email to the VP of the dealership (which, 4 business days later, I have yet to receive a response) - not great customer service, particularly for a dealership that calls itself "STRESS-FREE". Moral of the story is, buy a Subaru, they're awesome cars, just don't work with Joseph at Subaru of Puyallup.

Traded in our faithful 2014 Crosstrek today at the same place we bought it - Subaru Puyallup, for a new 2019 Crosstrek. Our salesperson, Andrew, has got to be THE most knowledgeable Subaru salesperson ever. Andrew truly had answers to all our questions as well as educated us with a plethora of useful information. He has got to be the most chilled and stressfree salesperson ever, as well as the mot interesting, kind and thoughtful.

Had a very pleasant experience at the Puyallup Subaru dealership. Absolutely no pressure to buy a vehicle, and assisted wife and I what we wanted for build in vehicle. The asking price was amazing (NO bickering back and forth on price!), and sales was courteous(took us out for test drive and described features on car), would go back without hesitation to buy another vehicle(unfortunately this is the last new auto sales we will be doing). KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK AT PUYALLUP-----"cars cost less in Puyallup"

Justin and all other associates were very helpful. I would recommend a bit more training with some of the younger associates. All in all a good experience.

Blaine at Puyallup Subaru. is awesome

Blaine was great, Knew about the Subrau cars, walked us around the Subaru Impreza, explained all the equipment and what the dealership does for the customers and community. Answered all questions and made the leasing process very Stress Free. Blaine was very good to work with..
