They may have ruined my engine.

Graff Chevrolet may have ruined my engine. I took my Pontiac G6 in for an oil change and tire rotation on 5 October 2015. I don't do a lot of driving, but on 11 October I drove from Okemos to a concert in Kalamazoo. I never got there because I smelled burning oil when I got off the highway. I checked the oil but it was more full than the dipstick could measure. I paid a local oil change place to drain oil until it was the correct level, and they took out one and a half quarts. The next day I went to Graff Chevrolet and got my money back for the oil change and for my payment to the Kalamazoo oil change place. I am not at all satisfied and am still most unhappy. Presently I am waiting for third-party engine experts to determine if Graff's blunder has resulted in damage to the engine. When overfilled the crankshaft can aerate the oil, causing it to foam and preventing the oil pump from circulating oil, starving the engine of lubrication. At worst the engine can seize but the condition can also cause serious damage to seals, piston rings, valve train and related parts without actually destroying the engine in short order. I reminded the Graff service manager that this was the second time they had overfilled it in a year, and also pointed out they had soiled the drivers-side carpet and seat with dirty grease the last three times I brought it in. I take offense with big greasy footprints on my floor mats. I spent 5 and 6 October cleaning up their mess, but given previous bad experiences I should have checked the oil. I won't be going back to Graff for any more "service", and Linda won't be buying a car from them after all. And we have yet to see about compensation for a ruined engine.

Thanks Ron for your words, we have taken every human precaution to make sure this does not happen again, as for the internal engine a half quart over filled cannot and will not damage your engine. As you will hear when you get your 3rd party information. graff

Good service friendly staff knowledgeable staff

Even though I could not buy my vehicle at graff they still treat me with respect and really want my business. It is a great place to go for service

Good buying experience

I came to Graff specifically because I had previously had positive experiences buying two cars from Steve Lampman at a different dealership. Once again, Steve was very helpful (and very low pressure, which I appreciate).

Broken fuel guage

This was an odd call. Daughter driving down the road and car just quit. Matt Cozik went out of his way arranging for tow service. Car ran out of fuel because fuel level sensor is reading off by about a quarter tank.

A happy ending to an unfortunate start

My new Colorado truck had a major failure at just 700 miles on the odometer so I was not a happy camper going in. Service advisor Brian Vanden Akker took me under his wing and saw the whole ordeal through which took almost two weeks to get my truck back. None of the wait was the dealership's fault. Brian had a lot of behind the scenes help from Matt Cozik, Greg Jenca and Matt Sloan. These guys handled the unfortunate situation as good as could be expected and I have been a loyal customer because of these experiences.

Amazing staff, great deals

My dealer was Russel Smith. He was excellent throughout the entire process. He answered every question I had, was very patient, and professional. I have never met a car dealer as awesome as this guy was. He listened to my situation and was able to get me into my dream car. And he did it all without ever being pushy. James from the financing department was also great to work with. He was able to get me approved with no money down. I couldn't believe it. I will recommend everybody go to Graff Okemos.

Good service

Had my oil changed - would have been even better if they washed & vacuumed it. Also if they did rotate my tires I would've also assume they would've adjusted the tire pressure, which they did not.
