I put $20,000 down on the purchase of a vehicle and 2 1/2...
I put $20,000 down on the purchase of a vehicle and 2 1/2 weeks later I get a call from Ryan in financing saying Chase wants me to put down a little more than $5000 more on the vehicle cuz I’m retired and they say my retirement pay doesn’t support the monthly payment. I’ve purchased many other new cars and they always checked these things at time of purchase. This buying experience is by far the worst experience I have ever had. SHAME ON MORRIES!!! Depending on how this plays out…my displeasure with MORRIES will be ALL over social media.

As it turns out the $5,000 Chase wants me to pay to make up for lack of income could easily be made up by setting my loan for 60 months instead of 48. I was offered 60 months at 1.9% but I was the one that said I wanted 48 months. If I would have left it at 60 months you wouldn’t be reading any of this. I’m sure no one at Chase or MORRIES took that into consideration.
