Disappointed

When I made the appointment, I guess I was expecting the same follow through as the sales dept. My experience with the service dept. has been simple ie oil changes, small part swap, questions. When I first handed the car off I was told the cosmetic parts would be in just a few days later. The parts didnt arrive until the end of the following week. They then told me that my vehicle would be ready just a couple days later that never happened. At the beginning of the following week I asked when it would be ready, they replied with later that day. The end of the week approached, I received a phone call from the manager of service telling me that they found something else wrong and that it wouldnt be ready until that following Monday. I went up to retrieve the vehicle they told me that it was cleaned up and ready, that wasnt accurate. I found the drivers floor mat drenched in oil and greasy, the rocker moldings they said would fix was returned scratched marred and not in the new fashion that it once was. I have been a mechanic for a long time and I have purchased a few vehicles from this dealership however I will never bring my vehicles to this service dept again.

I went in for service and recall and a promise from my

I went in for service and recall and a promise from my salesman that i would be given a key for my locking lugnuts that was missing when i bought my truck. When we made the appointment we were told they would have the key, Instead they put on some not matching, not locking lug nuts, which is probably good because they didn’t give me any key. And they did not tell me anything about what they did. I guess they did the recall service. And i hope they did my service- but i was told by the service department- when i made my appointment- to present my coupon to the cashier- but the cashier said she can’t take the coupon- the service rep had to be given the coupon. Eventually they credited me- but the hassle was not appreciated. Needless to say- the new truck i was planning to buy this year for my business-will not be from Burnsville.

I had it in for the 40,000 mile maintenance.

I had it in for the 40,000 mile maintenance. They had it done very quickly and I waited in the customer lounge which was clean, beverages to drink.
