I'm an MSU student and needed an affordable, reliable car after my first car broke down on me. I happened to run across BJ's Auto Sales right here on Cars.Com. Since my very first phone call inquiring about how the process goes and about a few of the cars listed online, Hugh and his team have been nothing but wonderful to me! He was very upfront and open about what needed to happen, how it needed to happen, and had no problems answering any of the questions I had. He is very understanding of my situation of being a college student and was more than willing to work with my mom and dad and I. I am so happy I found this dealership as it has made my purchasing of a first car so easy and has also helped me establish some credit. Now if anyone is looking for a car in the Lansing area that is affordable and GOOD quality, I'll be sending them to BJ's, the people there are very friendly and just want to help in any way they can.

Sincere, honest, friendly, and experienced local business that sells quality used cars. Posts many detailed pictures of each car (including engine and interior) on their website and on cars.com, so no surprises regarding the condition when you visit. Experienced and shows understanding with funding situations of college/grad students, and certainly not the pushy kind of dealer. Credit/debit card (which would add lots of additional processing cost anyway) and personal check (for obvious reasons) are not accepted, so payment will best with bank transfer or money order. For my case, they were kind enough to wait for the money order to arrive in their mail from my out-of-state bank. They give one final car wash before pickup and take care of the registration/licence plate on behalf of customers. Submit payment and proof of insurance, and you are good to go. I was able to get a 2005 Honda of really good condition at a very reasonable price. Was a great pleasure to do business with!

Just bought a 07 Buick Lacrosse and I'm loving the car. The staff at BJ's were so nice and took great care of all the vehicles on the lot. Highly recommend checking out BJ's Auto Sales!
