We bought an Envoy 2 yrs. ago from Jim Douglas Auto Sales and had such GREAT SERVICE that they are the only ones who came to mind when we needed to get my daughter another vehicle when she graduated. We were there several times looking at cars and test driving them and they were nothing but HONEST with us about everything and they were very patient with my daughter and all the questions she asked. I have previously bought several cars from jdas (in the 80's and 90's) and had excellent experience each time. My nephew came to me asking about trading his Durango in for another car. I recommended jdas, but I wanted to make sure it was as good now as before. Sounds by the reviews nothing has changed. Just as good as it was years ago as it is now. Glad to see somethings never change. Would highly recommend to anyone to make your first stop here. You won't go anywhere else!!!

I purchased my vehicle from Jim Douglas Auto Sales 5 months ago and it's still running great, no issues after putting 10,000 miles on it. Jim Douglas Sales is a family business (at least 2 generations that I could see from my visit). Looking at the stock on their lot as well as my purchase, they make a good faith effort to only offer quality used cars and give an honest disclosure about the car's history. When I first looked at the vehicle I purchased, I noticed an issue with removing the ignition key (sticking). They were expeditious in repairing the issue (diagnosing and replacing a switch in the automatic trans gear select). Noting the tires didn't have a lot of mileage left, they gave me a $200 break on what was already a very reasonable price. They conduct their business like they want to be there for the long-run. After spending the previous day looking at cars for sale by owner, only to be disappointed, I was very pleased to do business at Jim Douglas Auto. Adam and his father were polite, helpful and didn't pressure me to make a sale. When I found a car I was interested in, Adam encouraged me to take it for a test drive. He also shared the Carfax with me and took time to answer all of my questions. We negotiated a fair price and I was really happy that he could help me take care of all the paperwork, from proof of insurance to all the secretary of state requirements so that I could take possession of my new "used" car that same day. I've had the car for almost a month and enjoy driving it every day.

Not only did I sell my vehicle to Art and Adam, I decided to purchase my next car from them as well!!! I had decided to sell my 2008 Dodge ram 1500 to them because they offered me a fair cash up front price with no hassle. I needed a new car that had better gas mileage than my truck of course, so I went shopping with my new check in hand. After driving as far a Dearborn to view cars with misleading ads I finally came right back to where I sold my Truck! Not only do they care about the cars they sell their ads for the cars are legit!!! Great, HONEST, family owned dealership. Like I said look no further!!! Thanks guys!

All cars were clean. Total disclosure of all issues of the cars. No pressure to purchase. No problems picking up vehicle several days after my purchase.

I took a big chance and basically bought a 2005 Cadillac SRX over the phone based on the dealers ad and the carfax report. I was extremely anxious during the 5 hour drive from Indianapolis to Pontiac. But as soon as I pulled into the lot, the car was clean and ready for a test drive.. And the car was everything advertised and more! Adam was an excellent host as soon as I arrived, pulling the car up and asking if I needed some direction since I wasn't from the area. Adam was also very willing to negotiate price. After test driving the vehicle, they pulled it into the garage to allow me to get a better look at the car. The only immediate issue I noticed were that the rear brake rotors and pads needed replaced sooner than later (a repair I did the next day) and Adam negotiated the price to cover the cost of rotors with no hassle. I absolutely will be contacting Adam later this year to buy another vehicle.. Definitely worth the drive!!!
