BMW of Carlsbad

We had looked at used Teslas at several dealerships. Our experience at BMW of Carlsbad was outstanding. I had text Martin Iliev, one of the sales advisers, that we were coming from Temecula to look at a 2023 Tesla Model Y. When we arrived the car was waiting for us, fully charged and spotless. We had a 2013 Toyota RAV4 that we were planning to trade in and fully expected to be low balled. But to our surprise we got a fair price. A lot of the car buying platforms showed this 2023 Tesla Y as a good value, so we really did not feel the need to haggle. We were treated with respect and in the finance department there was no pressure to add a warranty, gap insurance or other items. We simply declined when asked and that was that. Martin, our adviser was very knowledgeable in regards to the car and he patiently showed us everything. We bought many cars during our 48 years of marriage and this was by far the most pleasant car buying experience. I would recommend BMW of Carlsbad to friends and family without hesitation.

Staff was terrific. I was given a detail explanation of what to expect before. I was explained what occurred after the car was serviced and proved with a video.The waiting area was comfortable and reasonable.

I was checked in immediately after walking into the office by Keith. Took only 10 minutes to do the check in process. Car was finished as discussed within 2 hours.

We found a most helpful and understanding salesperson in PJ. We feel that he went above and beyond in getting us into the car that was right for us even finding one at a dealer out of the area. We are more than pleased. We have been dealing with BMW for over 30 years, beginning in Calabasas with Bob Smith. This has been our most pleasant experience in purchasing a car.

Service consultant Marcello did a great job, everything was very professional and trouble-free, I recommend it to everyone with peace of mind. He took great care of the car, thank you for everything.

Christine at BMW of Carlsbad is one of the best customer relations agents I have come across. I have always been happy with the experience I have when I go to BMW of Cbad. One critique: I called in for an appointment weeks before the appointment. When I got there I was told I was not on the list. The fellow asked how I make my reservation. When I told him I called in, he said “yea, that doesn’t work. People who call for an appt usually don’t get on the appointment list”. Huh? What!!! I put my patient panties on and it turned out ok. That experience did rob me of an extra half hour of my day. Annoying but did not ruin my day. Not too much of a big deal but I know BMW holds itself to a higher standard and may want to look into this. Maybe have the service phone operator simply say no I can’t set up and appt, do it on line. Just a suggestion.

     New We have ALL GOOD things to say about BMW of Carlsbad, especially Nick Henderson. We were greeted warmly and sensitively. Nick treated us very well both during negotiations and post-delivery follow-up. Nick's approach was professional, personal, and beyond our expectations to the point of meeting with us on his day off. Nick's introduction to the 2025 X3 was appropriate to enable the car to sell itself. Sales attention to detail is fantastic. Thomas and Jeremy of Sales Management and Financial Services, respectively, were very supportive, helpful, and efficient. Manny Escatel's"Genious" support was invaluable in enabling our deeper understanding of the X3 technical features.
