When W.S. Curry sold his first car in 1915 he launched a family business based on the simple time-honored principle that satisfied customers will return. Purchased my last 4 trucks here with Cash. Signed on Saturday to purchase 95K Truck. Left my trade in truck at shop, finalized exact amount, purchased insurance, showed up with check- They were in process of selling my truck I had signed sheet on?!!!!!! xxx then offered me a different truck. So of course I purchased a 95K truck from a much better dealer in Martinsville. Do not go to Bloomington for Chevy Truck!

Hi Drew, Thank you for your past business with our store. We’re disappointed that this experience ended this way, and we understand how frustrating it is when a vehicle you’re interested in becomes unavailable. For clarity, the purchase had not been finalized on your first visit, as there were still titling and trade details that needed to be completed. For that reason, the truck had not been removed from inventory or marked as sold. Our policy is that vehicles remain available for sale until a purchase is completed, and we do not hold vehicles without a finalized transaction. We work hard to communicate that clearly and always make sure our customers know a vehicle is available for sale to anyone once they leave without finishing a transaction. When another customer came in to look at the truck, our team reached out several hours before your planned arrival to let you know the situation. We also tried to offer another truck as an alternative, though we understand that was not the outcome you were hoping for. We appreciate the opportunity you’ve given us over the years and are sorry we were not able to earn your business this time. We wish you the best with your new truck.

Hi Drew, Thank you for sharing. We understand the frustration in having the truck sell while working through those details on your end. Unfortunately, as Drew had communicated with you the first time that you were in, all of our vehicles are available and for sale until all final paperwork is completed to finish the purchase. Danny did his best to update you as soon as he became aware that another customer was at the store looking at the truck by reaching out at 10:21am that day. It's unfortunate that the timing worked out this way, but we're glad that you were able to find a new truck that works well for you. We wish you the best.

Not true! I spoke with Gary int finance atleast 4 times. Got the exact amount for check. Had bank write check and purchased insurance for a year to show proof on arrival Had appt set up for 12:30 with Danny confirmed by email and text. Also talked to lady in finance who told me who to write check to. Was in contact 6 times Monday and 3 times Tuesday before my appt. Showed up Tuesday at 1pm with check and appointment was told the couple next to me was purchasing the vehicle and should look at a different vehicle.

We pulled into Curry as the last stop after a long day of car shopping in Martinsville & Bloomington. Not expecting to find anything, we drove the lot and saw one and as we parked Doug casually greeted us. The experience was low pressure, he listened to our wants and needs, asked questions, and guided us through a smooth sale of a 2022 GMC Yukon XL in just a few hours. We recommend Doug & Curry Auto for your car buying needs!
