Carmela was friendly and helpful in getting the deal done. The people in the office were friendly and helpful and the paperwork guy was the the easiest of any I've worked with. This dealership is capable of completing an out-of-state transaction which I did successfully with them and financed with my bank. The major down side of my experience was the vehicle I purchased. Though it seemed like a good deal online and after being repeatedly told by Carmela that it was a "nice" truck, when I got there, I quickly saw that it had been ran on unpaved roads a lot and was very dinged up on the bottom. More importantly, the truck was running when I got there, a big red flag. In my first three weeks of ownership, I've replaced a failing fuel pump, weak battery, and failing starter for a total of about $800 in parts. Any of these items could have easily left me stranded on my trip back from Alabama to NC. After living with the truck for a few weeks, it has missed enough starts for me to wonder if they weren't trying to hide something in having it running when I arrived. An honest seller should always give the buyer a cold start. I almost walked away and time will tell if I would have been better to do so. I expected to see some cosmetic defects since this truck was registered commercial for most of its life but the condition of this vehicle inside and out left a lot to be desired when I got up close to it. Kudos to whoever photographed it. Once I got home, I pulled the bed liner to find quite the deposit of mud/dust up to 2 inches thick in places. When I dropped the fuel tank to change the pump, a similar amount of dirt was present on top of the tank. Also, I've notice a transmission leak, looks like a front seal. I don't remember seeing it wet when I got under the vehicle to check it out. I'm sure they do sell vehicles in good repair at Lowery Bros, but probably only if they are in relatively good repair when they arrive at Lowery Bros. I started noticing a musty smell after having the truck for a few days and realized that they had left the carpet wet under the vinyl floor mats. Long story short, I wouldn't count on their reconditioning process or for them to be completely straightforward with you regarding the condition of vehicles. I did negotiate them down some off of the asking price based on the condition of the vehicle, but not based on any of the major parts that I've had to replace since I purchased it.

Absolutely love the welcoming, supportive and caring atmosphere and nature of the people that work here! I will definitely be buying my next car from here soon!!
