Exceptional value. We’ve bought cars from this dealer for a decade. Most recently a 2025 Acura RDX A-spec with 9000 miles on it. I found records in the car showing that it sold 18 months ago for $51k. Current book was $41k. I paid $31k. Showroom clean. They disclosed and showed a picture of the rear end damage it sustained. All repairs made passed inspection from my mechanic. Understand that McComb Automotive specializes in the sale of R titled vehicles. Other reviewers missed this key point. Also understand that they DO NOT finance. This is clearly stated on the website. What you lose is the factory warranty, Acura guarantees 5 years bumper to bumper, 7 years power train. What you get is McComb’s warranty of 1 year power train, and exceptional savings. Do your homework, then go test drive a car. You will not be disappointed. Do not expect a slick salesperson or even an overly pleasant office staff, although Kathy was very helpful and efficient. This place is all about the cars. We purchased a 2017 Acura RDX IN 2018 and have made ZERO repairs to it. My sister has purchased a dozen cars from McComb Automotive and has loved every single one of them. We recommend them with no reservations.

Interested in a KIA K5 GT Line. Macomb Automotive Group (MAG) advertised that the vehicle had ridden over debris and was a total loss by the insurance company. Carfax verified this was true. MAG advertised that the subframe/lower splash shield and exhaust assembly was replaced with factory components by a KIA dealer. I had the car inspected by Summit Place KIA East and they identified a hole in the floor pan ahead of the fuel tank and scrape marks on front and rear control arms. MAG requested that I send them the pictures and inspection details from the dealership. I did have a deposit on the vehicle to hold it and MAG refunded the deposit. I did not purchased the vehicle based on the hole in the floor pan.

Low end and questionable quality cars, lack of financing, reminded me of everything bad I thought of car dealers

Dealer response

Hi. You rated us one star based on the fact we don't finance even though we mention it many times in the ad and video walk around.i would really appreciate your thoughts on how we can be informative of it? Thank you

Dealer response

We are mid-west largest rebuilt cars reseller.that could explaine the amount of salvage title cars we have in our inventory. Every effort is made by us to have vehicle info available in the ad. With some staff being on vacation perhaps we weren't as helpfull as we usually are. I apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused you. We do try our best . Also I'm always open to suggestions on how to improve. Thank you.

Consumer response

I didn't rate you one star just because of the lack of ANY financing. I rated you one star based on the unprofessional and seemingly uncaring attitude of the people there I spoke to by phone when trying to get information on a couple of cars as well as the amount of salvage title vehicles you offer. All in all, a very poor impression of your company

I bought a Infinity Q50 from them that has cost me twice what I paid for it. I knew these cars blew turbos so when I asked about my warranty I was told I had nothing to worry about it covered bumper to bumper. We’ll come to find out it excludes turbos (I asked about this exact problem being covered at the dealership) and all other parts that might break except the drivetrain 🙄. Basically I paid for a clean green car but got a rebuilt for the same price. Just don’t be fooled by the warranty. Hope this helps someone!

Overall I had a good experience. They are very upfront and honest, and they tell you from the beginning that the cars have salvaged titles and are sold as is. I brought my car in August, and it had a problem on the test drive with the air conditioning. They fixed it as promised after I brought the car. They offered me a loaner while I waited. The manager is a little spicy for my taste, but she means well and is very efficient. I had a great experience all the way around. Highly recommend.

I work in sales, drive thousands of miles a year making it necessary to purchase another car every 2-3 years. I have purchased many used cars, and I recently purchased a 2018 Ford Edge from Macomb Auto Group. I have read other reviews, and its obvious that these buyers are not seasoned or have experience with purchasing a used vehicle. Macomb Has been in business for many years because they are honest and straight forward about what type of car they are selling. Their excellent prices are excellent for the reasons they clearly state on their vehicle descriptions as well as on the home page. They state the vehicles are inspected, and they are. However since they are not new vehicles you are going to have minor cosmetic issues that any human being may over look. once again though you have to keep in mind that the prices are far below the Kelly Blue Book. The vehicle I purchased had a few minor plastic cosmetic issues that needed attention, and a good detailing. In fact I even called Kathy for help with the missing wheel lock key, and she offered to pay my entire Belle Tire Bill after I had purchased the vehicle. If you are willing to put a little work into washing, and cleaning the car along with a few minor other items you can save yourself thousands of dollars purchasing a vehicle from Macomb Auto Group. I am very satisficed with my purchase, and would 100% purchase my next vehicle from them. I suggest you also purchase your next vehicle from Macomb Auto Group. Take it from a person who has purchased many many cars over the years!

Went today to look at a couple vehicle's and the guy seemed to busy to give the time of day. Asked him about a couple he had on the lot he just started walking out the door so i followed he said the 2 were sold. Ok i see another i was interested in asked how much he gives a look and says i don't know 20 some thousand and just walks away. Ok i was looking to spend up to 30 thousand i will definitely make sure i don't spend a penny in this place.
