They buy their vehicles at auction and do not inspect thoroughly. .. bought a truck that was riddled with issues and after they tried to fix the issues there were even more! After asking to cancel the deal I was told they had the right to keep fixing the problems. After 3 weeks of headaches... I tried to trade my truck in elsewhere just to end this nightmare.. and was informed the truck came from canada.. This means vehicles lose value when they cross borders... I lost 8000 dollars in 3 weeks because of their schemes. I learnt a valuable lesson. .. don't buy from them or someone where the prices seem too good to be true.

Found their inventory online, was looking for a extra car for the family...compared a few new vehicles to what I was looking at for the price from Sandy Motors and I could not pass up the deal...Very friendly and impressive used car dealership! I would recommend them anytime! Thanks

Very Nice Dealership! Everyone I worked with was pleasant, Great selection of cars trucks and suvs and there prices are very very good! Went to a few dealers who had the same vehicles but were either over priced or just rude...these guys laid back and easy to deal with....great extended warranty plans that I purchased! I recommend Sandy Motors..Its a hidden gem!

Third car i purchased and someone told me to try Sandy Motors...Well I LOVED IT! so easy...I think it was the most laid back place i have ever delt with...there not on you like a hawk and are very nice to work with.

When you go to many car dealerships they always are all over you to get you into a vehicle for a test drive and almost pressure you while you are there, I went to many places in RI and I Have to say only a few, Sandy Motors being one of them that were so respectful to myself and my family. I was looking for about 3 weeks for a small SUV with good miles on it, I saw a nice Chevy Equinox on there website...went down for a test drive and ended up purchasing it! My overall experience was GREAT! The price on the window was the price I paid no hidden fees...I went back a few days go to have my tire looked at, the fixed a small leak and even washed it for me! I would recommend Sandy Motors to anyone!

Run away from this dealer! Their business model is to buy cars at auction "as is" and pass other peoples' problems on to you, hoping 30 days will expire and they are legally off the hook. I had intermittent problems with a loss of power in my 2008 Jeep Cherokee as early as the day after I bought it. I called Steve Cole, the salesman, immediately and informed him. I replaced common maintenance items that might be causing the problems at my expense, no problem, but the problem persisted. Finally, after 5 weeks of owning the vehicle it happened again and the check engine light went on. We discovered an electrical board in the transmission was faulty. Steve Cole was reasonable and felt Sandy Motors was liable to help fix the problem, however Steve has no power and all matters are sent to the absentee owner, Bob McGowan. Bob McGowan did not return repeated attempts to contact him. Don't stop by the dealership because he is never there. I also tried to contact Jean McGowan to see if she had a conscience. Her silence tells me that the whole family as no moral principles or a sense of fairness and justice. Sandy Motors and the McGowans are what is wrong with the used car business.

When I was in the market for a used car, I expected all of the usual sales tricks and tactics to be thrown my way. Not at Sandy Motors! I got a fair deal and nothing but the facts! I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about customer care, customer service, the wonderful car selections, and the fair prices. If you're in need of a car, I seriously reccomend that you go see the sales team at Sandy Motors!

I had been searching for a Volvo S80 V8 model for about a year when I drove by Sandy Motors here in Coventry where I live. They had what I was looking for and it happened to be a few thousand less than I had seen elsewhere. Glenn was very helpful, and never pressured me in any way. The car had a few cosmetic issues which were taken care of prior to purchase. I even negotiated the price down several hundred dollars! Bob the office manager was also very helpful in completing the paperwork and taking care of the registration transfer. Nice selection of vehicles from small cars to big trucks well below book value.

Very helpful guys! We came all the way from NH to see a Jeep Compass they had and from the start they were understanding of our budget and never tried to up sell us. We would absolutely recomed this dealer to anyone!

I purchased a car from Sandy Motors in early March. I have to say it was one of the most "PAIN and STRESS FREE" car buying experiences I have ever experienced. Our sales person, John McGowan was extremely professional, courteous and we did not in way feel pressured to make a decision/"deal that day" as many car dealers try to push. Going through the paperwork (which was done that day since I decided immediately that this was the car I wanted) and financing options was also a very stress free and efficient process. I have already recommended Sandy Motors to two of my friends who are looking to purchase a vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend Sandy Motors to anyone looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle. OH and I must not forget the most important point. Pricing is VERY fair and reasonable and I LOVE my car!!!!!
