I purchased a beautiful 2016 Kia Sorento with 33, 00 miles from Justin at Gary Rome Kia on May 2, 2018. My sales experience was great, no complaints at... all! VERY SOON after receiving my vehicle it started making a loud bang sound from the back of the car. I brought it to the GRK service department and they were unable to identify the issue, so I drove it again for about a week, until my next appointment when they took it for 2 days and when they weren’t able to “duplicate the sound” they were fully prepared to let me drive my vehicle on vacation (3,000 miles) with no knowledge of the actual problem and if my car was even safe to drive. I basically refused to drive it on vacation and they finally agreed to give me a rental. They had my car for 19 days and said that they had identified and fixed the problem and that it was the struts in the rear hatch. I retrieved my car after the first repair attempt and after a few short days the car started with the exact same noise. I brought it back, (they provided me with a rental) they then had my car in the service department for about 45 days, with very little communication. The second diagnosis was a “faulty canister” which also ruined my fuel tank, my upper and lower catalytic converter. All of those parts were replaced under warranty and my car was given back. AGAIN, within days same noise started. I brought it back, test drove with a tech, and they said they cannot do anything at that time due to not being able to “duplicate the sound”. I called multiple times that week and spoke to the service manager and the general manager to see what their plan was to identify the issue with my car and they said they never made a plan and that they cannot provide me with a rental because they didn't “duplicate the sound”. During this time I also contacted Gary (Owner) via email to ask to meet with him: he declined, said it would be “redundant” to meet with me. At that point I decided that I couldn’t drive my car any longer feeling unsafe. I contacted Kia consumer affairs, and moved to a Balise Kia. They were very willing to help me and make sure I felt safe, got my car into the service department the next day and into a rental. Balise gave me a third diagnosis of a bad rear differential and according to the tech at Balise there was significant damage and a large amount of metal shavings in the differential upon inspection. ( YES, I bought my car with all of these issues). Sadly, this has not been the end of my xxxx with this vehicle. Even with all of those repairs, my original complaint is still relevant. In an attempt to find the cause of the noise coming from the rear, they have uncovered all of the above, but unable to remedy the actual problem! And their only offer of goodwill was to pay 1 (YES JUST ONE) of the so far 8 payments that have been made towards this
Love our new 2017 Kia Optima! Test drove a new Camry (2018) and Honda Accord. Kia was much quieter, had great pick-up, handling, comfort, and features.... Salesman was terrific; no pressure, no cons, 100% truthful. 8 months later and no trouble whatsoever. This is our first KIA, and I'm sure we will be back!
It took over two months for service department to respond to my calls about the issue that I was having with my 2018 Kia Optima. No one would return my... calls. When I finally got an appointment and dropped off my car no one would keep me abreast of what was happening unless I called them. The members of the service department said they would call me back, this included the service manager, and no one did. I found out that the car was done by e-mail. Gary Rome Kia prides itself on treating customers as family. I was made to fell that I was the estranged son.
Knowledgeable salesperson, fair and easy to deal with as car salesmen go. Sensitive to my needs. The test drive was excellent. No restrictions imposed.... I got enough time to make a decision.
I love my new Kia Sportage. I had a great experience with Mike Robare. I never felt pressured at all. Everyone I dealt with made sure that I was comfortable... with the terms of my lease. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

Returned to Gary Rome KIA three years after buying a 2014 KIA Soul ! After three years loving the car, loving the company’s service and customer relations... skill, my wife and I returned to Scout out a possible trade-in and new 2018 KIA Soul. Salesman Justin and General Manager Dave made the experience even better than the last time. Two days later we drove home a Horizon Blue KIA Soul, equipped the way we preferred at a price nearly identical to the deal we got before. Love the car, the dealership and the people!
My lease experience at Gary Rome Kia of Enfield could not have been better! From the getgo, Mike Robare and I just clicked. I had several questions and... he answered all of them with knowledge and patience. On my test drive, he even encouraged me to drive the Soul to my home to ensure that my recumbent trike would fit in the back with the rear seats down as this was one of my greatest concerns. It fit and I am now the proud driver of a cool 2017 Kia Soul. I would recommend Gary Rome Kia of Enfield to one and all. The customer service was the best and I am looking forward to becoming a member of the Gary Rome family.
I dropped my cat off because at timesI wld have trouble starting it. It's a 2012 Kia. They couldn't find an issue but when I called, she was able to ask... if it doesn't start on a cold start. (MUST BE A COMMON PROBLEM IF SHE WAS ABLE TO TELL ME THIS). So now they have no loaners and I'm placed on a list. 4 weeks later, my car completely dies and still no loaners. They are full of it. Couldn't give me any contact information aside from the service manager, who is also no assistance, to place in a complaint.
