"Experience Clear and Simple Car Buying and Selling"
I bought my first carmax in Houston really enjoyed it a great experience. Totally different story here. The manager is unhelpful and argumentative. If... you want to be frustrated and made to feel like you are waiting their time Shoppe here.
I bought a Mini Cooper three weeks ago. Engine line came on as soon as I drove it off lot. They hemmed and hawed about giving me appointment, then "fixed... it." Engine light came on two days later and car started driving jerkily, they insisted I'd have to wait five days for an appointment. With warranty expiring in 30 days, I insisted on coming in earlier. They "fixed it" again, only for engine light to come on a third time. I can't help but thinking they're putting a Band-Aid solution on just to get through the 30 days and then stick me with a lemon. And they don't seem at all concerned.
Every time I come to carmax they are unorganized unprofessional and they don't communicate with their departments and when you come to ask for help they... don't help you all they do is make you wait horrible service and very unhappy. I was called on a Friday at 6pm to pick up my car and they act like people don't work or they just don't care and I needed my car for the weekend and me assuming this being a big company would communicate but NO! now I'm missing a day of work stuck at carmax.
I went to buy a car and came 2 different time and was not able to connect with a sales person. Met Roosevelt Townsend omg this young assistance in making... the process smooth was awesome. I am happy to have went back to carmax and got the best deal and excellent customer service.
Carmax is not negotiable at all. Cars have mscratchea here and there and they say thats part of their price with damages. One thing i was pissed at was... that if they know you are going to buy the car for sure(ex paid for nonrefundable shipping) they will not follow up at all. U pay for shipping and if it could take up to 28 days wouldnt you want to get updates if you were getting a new car? My delivered car was a wrong car after waiting for weeks and i asked for refund because i will not buy it from here again and wrong vehicle came. Their price is expensive too. Go meet a nice sales person else where whos willing to work with u
