Overall not bad. However, I paid to have this vehicle shipped from CO to AZ. With a 125 point inspection you’d expect they check the AC system…well I get the notification my car was ready and showed up for the test drive to find out the AC was blowing hot. It was over 95 degrees that day! Did the test drive and when we got back to the dealership let my sales person know about the AC issue. Got the car scheduled at Carmax to look at the AC. Due to it still being under manufacturer warranty, I was told I should go through Audi to get it fixed. Well Audi confirmed the refrigerant was low and topped that off. I picked up the car and it was still blowing hot. Has Audi take another look and they determined the compressor was shot. That part just happens to be on an indeterminable back order status with no ETA on when the part will be available through Audi. I live in AZ, it’s June 12th and I purchased the car a month ago. I have been without my car for weeks with no idea when I will be getting it back due to this. Big miss on Carmax’s part.

This is my 5th car from CarMax so I am obviously a happy customer but i have shopped every deal and they consistently offer better trade in and purchase price. In a coupe of cases by a signifiant amount. The experience is painless and I will return for the next one.

From the minute in the door, we were treated super. They had worked closely with us getting our vehicle transferred from another Carmax for our convenience. The paper work was quick and accurate. The vehicle was beautiful and ready to go. Thank you Carmax.

Carmax made purchasing a vehicle easy. TJ, my sales guy was quick and thorough. Unfortunately the transmission on my new car fell apart in two weeks and the car has been in the shop for a month! The prior work done on it was not listed on the Equifax report I was given at the time of purchase. Glad there was a warranty but I have been in a rental for weeks.
