I had a protective rubber shield on the underbody of my

I had a protective rubber shield on the underbody of my truck that was partially coming off and seemingly due to a missing bolt. I had took a chance and drove in asking if Ford Service would put it on a lift and take a look and replace the missing bolt or if something else was the issue then we would have scheduled that service. It was a missing bolt (bolt that had worked it self loose) and they fixed it then and there. I was happy because if I had let it stay the part that was loose may have hooked on something and ripped off the part of the shield that was secured. I was planning just to come to the Ford parts group to get the correct bolt and washer and put it on my self but was glad that Ford Service took a look while it was in the air because then they could tell if it was just the bolt needed or something else. I got lucky because it was near the end of the day and the technician had an extra bolt so no charge for the work.

It took 13 days to fix my fuel pump.
