I had taken a vehicle of theirs to my mechanic and he found what might be a serious issue. Paul (the dealer) agreed to this and other repairs, and so I indicated I would like to purchase it. I asked if a deposit was needed, he said a preapproval was fine enough. I called once more to check on progress and status and was told everything was moving forward but no timeline yet. I call two days after that and he is literally selling the car to someone at that moment. He lies to me and says he never agreed to the repairs, that he had to ask his boss and his boss said no, and so it goes. Up until this point it had already been a trend of poor communication so maybe I should have known. But to the kid and his mom who bought a 2022 Ford Bronco yesterday, please get your transfer case checked out. That could be a very expensive fix (which I’m guessing Paul probably didn’t tell you about.) If you can get a car from literally anywhere else, do it. These guys are slimy.

All of their vehicles are salvage vehicles in the process of buying one and having a registered in New York is very cumbersome. Decent prices but difficult to go through the process to get the car registered.

2 Vehicle purchased from this dealership. The engines blew in both vehicles months after purchase. I was told that even though the name is Marty's Auto Sales and SERVICE, they do not service the vehicles that they sell. Thats convenient. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Buyer beware! Do not buy a vehicle from this dealership!

Bought a chrysler sebring with 20,000 miles on it 7 years ago (now 65,000) Routine maintenance. Never an issue. Still running great. Best deal I ever made in my 50 years of buying and driving.

I called one late afternoon about a used vehicle that seemed pricey, but fair relative to the current, inflated market. I explained that I had to drive approximately two hours to get there, and that I was very serious about buying the car. I was informed that I should get there as soon as they open the next morning because the car would not last long. It's a sales tactic, I know, but in this case it was probably accurate. It wasn't until after I had already driven nearly two hours that they decided to disclose to me that the car had a rebuilt title. They could have told me this on the phone, but then I wouldn't have driven all the way to come see it. I asked why it wasn't in the ad, and was told they they aren't obligated to include it in the ad. To be completely fair, the online photos were at least accurate to the vehicles in-person appearance. The asking price for this car with a rebuilt title was roughly on par with vehicles that have never been in an accident. I can't imagine anyone paying that much for a rebuild, but in this market, someone probably will. Even if the price were cut in half, I wouldn't have come to see it, much less purchased it. I imagine that is why they opted not to mention it until I was on site, having already expending a not insignificant amount of fuel to get there. I find this type of behavior extremely deceptive and dishonest. It is my opinion that they willfully withheld the information knowing that I might not have otherwise made the long journey. In all likelihood, the average buyer is blissfully ignorant of the implications of buying a car with rebuilt title. When I told the owner that I wouldn't have come all this way if I knew it was a rebuild, he smiled and said informed me they would be able to sell it anyway. In this market, and with such a questionable moral compass, I'm sure they will.

I messaged Marty's Auto about a used vehicle of theirs I found on cars.com but I never received a response. Afterwards I read some other people's reviews and discovered this is a common practice of theirs. #Disappointed
