Since our humble beginnings opening on Valentines Day 1968 with a fleet of five Volkswagen Beetle's we have successfully grown to become the largest independently owned car rental company in the Pacific Northwest.

Excellent way and place to buy a used car

Gary and Jeff were the dynamic duo in getting us a car in a complex situation. Very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and efficient. Amazing. We purchased a Subaru Forrester and are very pleased 2 months later.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever from start to finish. Bought a car from here a week ago, best price I could find but how I regret not just paying more. Customer service is non existent. The purchasing process took forever. They had trouble getting my loan approved so I left. They called me back 30 min later so I had to turn around and go back, that was a big mistake. The car wasn’t detailed so they scheduled me to come back. Took it back and was told it would be ready by end of day. Got to work late and left early to make it on time. Arrived only to be informed it wasn’t ready and to come back the next day. They had all day to call me and tell me this. Mind you I live in Everett and work in Bellevue so its not a 5 min drive. Decided to go to the mall in the loaner car they let me barrow. Someone broke in and smashed the window. Cad to drive all the way to Everett with a busted window that they are making me pay for. Next day they call to tell me my car was ready for pickup and to bring $200 cash for the broken window. Drove down from Everett and arrived at 5:40 and it was closed. No one called to tell me they were going to close early, their posted hours say 6. Had to drive back to Everett with a busted window again! No one has called me back about this and I still don’t have my car. At this point I am going to try to back out of the sale because I don’t want to give my business to this place. Absolute trash. Don’t waste your time here. I’d rather go pay an extra thousand dollars somewhere else than waste my time here!

Excellent Experience at Dollar!

Super happy with our experience at Dollar. Ended up purchasing a used Kia Forte. Worked with Jeff and Edwin, who were both very nice. No high pressure used car sales going on here! They let us take the car for a test drive by ourselves. Asked if we could take the car to have it inspected at the dealership, no problem! They even let us put the car on hold until we could schedule it and had it detailed a second time. We had the car inspected at the dealership and it was in excellent condition with no mechanical issues at all. Vehicle was priced below Blue Book and had lower than average mileage for a car of its age. We would definitely buy a car here again.

Never shop here

I waited to make review for this place because I wanted to see if the car truly had any issues. I bought a 2018 Blue Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback from them in July 2020. The two representatives who helped me were friendly, one of them was named Gary and the other was Edwin. Good customer service. Now for the car, they said it was fully inspected for any safety issues and it meets their own safety standards (don’t know what that is because it was never elaborated). When I first inspected the car on the lot before purchasing, there was an air bubble in one of the tires which they did not notice until I pointed it out. It wasn’t a problem as they replaced the tire. On November 31st, I was inspecting the car and realized that the CV Axle on the right passenger seat had been replaced. This automatically makes me assume that this car was originally in an accident and they never reported it or otherwise why would you need to replace the CV Axle on a two-year old car with only 30,000 miles? It bothers me that if this was the case, then why wouldn’t you report it or let the customer know? The worse part out of all of this is that they replaced the CV Axle with a HEAVILY RUSTED CV AXLE. It’s literally a part straight from the junkyard. This is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS as if the CV Axle were to fall apart while driving, then I would immediately lose control of my car. I don’t care if you replaced the CV Axle, just replace it with A NEW CV WXLE, not one that’s heavily rusted and about to fall apart which could seriously injure someone or cause death. By the way, I changed the oil and I have no idea what kind of gunk and additives they put into my car. It was disgustingly dirty. I don’t think this was an issue with the two representatives that helped me purchase this car. This was most likely due to the lazy mechanics they have working there or some sleazy manager. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Unparalleled service

Spencer is amazing to work with. We bought a vehicle from Dollar but had to primarily work over email and phone because we are out of state. Spencer worked with our bank, worked with us, and by the time we arrived all that was left was a test drive...Which was flawless. Super nice guy, very clear with everything, but worked hard to make sure we were taken care of.
