Not communicative, shoddy work. No follow up.

I brought my car in here after the tire light turned on and then the check engine light turned on. I booked online for a synthetic oil change, a check engine diagnostic and a tire light diagnostic. The service team is very friendly and got me into a loaner which I appreciated. I did not hear from anyone for almost a week when I e mailed the service advisor asking for an update. Days later they said they had no idea what was wrong with the car yet and asked to keep it longer. I told them no problem and to let me know. Several days later I heard from them that the mass air flow sensor and the air filter needed cleaned and the tire light had been reset and was fine. So I could come get the car. When I picked up the car they had changed the oil, but they had put conventional oil in and not synthetic. Then as I drove off the lot the tire light turned on. I contacted the service advisor and he said I could bring it back in for them to look at that. Before I could bring it back in the check engine light turned back on and I was stranded when the car stalled out going 65 and on stop lights. I took the car to Tucson Subaru when I usually take it and they were able to fix it. The mass airflow sensor had been so damaged it needed replaced not cleaned and the tire light was also the result of a damaged sensor that needed replaced. I contacted the service director Bill Wheeler and expressed my concerns about paying for service that was shoddy, the tire light not being diagnosed, the check engine light turning back on within days and the oil being incorrectly changed. Bill e mailed me back that he was going to reach out to me after the holiday weekend and it has been two weeks and I have heard nothing. The only saving grace of this place is that their service advisors and team are very friendly albeit uncommunicative. I am so disappointed because this dealership is much closer to my home. But after this experience I will continue to drive to Tucson simply for the better service, quality of work and communication.

No appointment in 117 degree weather

My air conditioner on my Subaru was working intermittently. I was in Chandler, AZ for only a few days. The temperature was 117 degrees. I spoke with Wayne Haggard a service advisor. He squeezed me into a very busy schedule and even discounted the cost of the repair for me.

Great time. Fast sale,

Bought a used 2017 Forester from Griz over at Chandler Subaru and it was a great experience. Griz was very helpful through the whole process and I'm already sending a few friends his way.

From Nightmare to Pleasure

Before coming to the Subaru Superstore in Chandler, buying a new car was one of my least favorite things to do, but John Barravecchio, our salesperson, has made buying a new car a pleasure. He talked with us by phone before we came in, so he knew what we were looking for. He was prepared to show us cars that we liked as soon as we arrived. Picking the car was easy. There was no hassle and no pressure. This is the second Subaru John has sold us. We requested him this time, and we will request him again. After we selected our car, a Subaru Cross Trek, John turned us over to Marc Dicino in the financial department. Marc is experienced and efficient. We could not believe how quickly and smoothly the transaction was completed. Faster than we could have imagined the deal was done, and we were driving home in our new Subaru, happy and relaxed. I recently purchased a 2020 Outback from John...

I recently purchased a 2020 Outback from John Barravecchio. I was very weary of the car buying experience because not only is it normally a major headache but now with a pandemic it’s also a bit scary to interact socially. John handled everything we could over the phone and email. Once I got to the dealership John continued his amazing service and practiced all proper measures for practicing social distancing and wearing a mask. I was in and out of the dealership in under 45 minutes and that includes the test drive! Honestly, I feel like this pandemic shed a light on the car buying industry. I feel like because John and I were able to do most of the business virtually he was also free to help more clients than just me at one time. It was stress free, not intimidating and all around THE most positive experience buying a car that I’ve ever had. I will spread the word about how amazing John is and the dealership as a whole! Thank you!
