    I had the best buying experience yesterday thanks to Ron Yinger! He was awesome through the whole process, super nice and patiently answered all my questions and made me feel at home. The one reason I don't like car shopping is bad experiences with the stereotypical "car salesman" types and Ron broke the mold. My whole family drives Minis and I can say that we'd tell all our friends to go buy a Mini from Ron. Well done, and he was definitely the reason that Mini Seattle will earn my business again in the future.

    This Review is about the MINI Service Center only... and not about the Dealership as a whole. To start with, someone needs to teach the Customer Service Representatives to smile. Secondly, they need to be taught how to be a little considerate. They seem to be quite arrogant for such customer-facing positions. They would have no hesitation in refusing service by using lame excuses. They do not hesitate to bother customers to come back multiple times unnecessarily rather than help resolve issues sooner. Thirdly, they could use some better learning about customer co-ordination, courteous behavior, and common sense rather than go by textbook like statements. Lastly, they are very expensive when it comes to labor, in addition to already expensive parts. It is a pure rip-off big-time. For everything they would charge 2 labors - one for diagnosis & two for fix/install. Ideally, they should credit back the diagnosis towards fix/install if the customer chooses to perform the fix then and there. The technician is not really going to spend twice the amount of time. Very Unreasonable Service Center. I wish I could avoid going there. But, there are parts that are available only at the MINI service center. So, I have to force myself to go there. Sometimes, it feels as if the technicians program the cars such that the customers are required to come back to the service center every other month. I am unable to quantify that statement, but that is my genuine gut feeling. Overall - Seattle MINI Service Center : BAD

    As the General Manager for Seattle MINI, every review that is posted online comes to my desk. After investigation of your various 1 star reviews ¿¿¿ Yelp, Google and Dealer Rater (perhaps more that I am not aware of) here is what I have found out. You collected your 2011 Countryman (with 70,000 miles) yesterday evening after bringing the car in for a rear hatch failure. The technician found the problem, a failed rear hatch actuator that you decided not to have us repair. You also noted that the rear wiper did not work and the battery light was on causing you to return to my facility after collecting your car The Service department diagnosed the rear wiper and the battery for free after hours last night. As you now know the rear wiper will not work because the car thinks the hatch is open (see above). The battery is an aftermarket battery not purchased from this facility so I cannot speak to the capability or quality of this product. I did note that 5000 miles ago that battery light was on during a previous visit. MINI USA manufactured the vehicle and Seattle MINI offers a repair service. To have a trained technician work to find what is causing your car to fail requires time and ultimately payment for that time, once the factory warranty has expired. Yes, a repair is a twostep process. Step one ¿¿¿ find the fault, step two repair fault once the customer has approved the repair. Modern cars are complicated, finding the correct repair can take time as several things can cause a failure. For example, in your situation ¿¿¿ is it the computer, is it frozen shut, is it out of alignment, does the software need updating? e It takes time to find the specific faults. I cannot think of any other business that offers repairs that does not charge for the time and expertize to diagnose. If you feel that this is not a fair assessment of the events, please feel free to call me on my direct line 206 588 4241, I would be happy to discuss this series of what in my opinion is very harsh reviews.

    I purchased a new 2015 Mini from Seattle Mini, this was not my reason for visiting the dealership as I went to replace a tire! While waiting I was approached by friendly caring staff inquiring what they could do to make my visit pleasant. Much to my surprise they picked up on my attention to a new 2015 Mini convertible! With no delay they inquired as to how I would feel to own it, I provided them with some information and in a short time frame was informed I could own that car with very little change to my current contract. They took care of all the details and worry! I was rewarded with the car of my dreams and even a surprise birthday gift! Most of all the people there were genuine! They talked with me to find out more about me, my life, career, children, hobbies and so on. Kay McMillan spent a great deal of time with me and I felt totally assured she had MY best interest at heart! Very unique quality in this industry. I have purchased several new cars in the past however she is the only one that truly had my best interest as a priority! She assured me she would be available going forward for any questions or concerns, and a friend going forward. Thank you Kay, I Love You!!!

    This was our 4th car purchased from this dealership. We had a different sales person each time but the experience was really great each time. I don't walk away with that feeling like I have been taken or lied to. They seem honest and genuine. They take the time you need and they listen. I love my new (to me) car! Thanks, Bill!
