Questionable and Suspect Dealerx

Traveled from Maryland to look at a low mileage Honda Civic. Pictures online looked great and the initial customer service and engagement seemed promising. After closer inspection of the vehicle questions regarding the quality of the vehicle and the dealerships willingness to fully disclose information about the vehicle became a problem. While they claimed a the vehicle had a clean Carfax it was apparent from a closer inspection that the vehicle had been in an accident which may not have been reported, but anyone with a sharp eye could tell upon inspection including 1st Choice. The dealership refused to be forthcoming in answering questions regarding why VIN numbers were missing off quarter panels and why the vehicle was detailed with different colored pin stripping from one side to the next. Paint overspray was noticeable on three of four doors, two quarter panels, and both the front and rear bumpers, but the dealer said it wasn't in and accident and that they had only repainted the front and rear bumpers due to excessive scratching. After the dealer failed to answer the questions asked regarding the condition of the vehicle, I became suspect of the vehicle and the dealership as a whole. Given these facts I opted to not purchase the vehicle for my daughter as her first car and recommend others steer clear of this dealership as well.

very good experience in my purchase

I had a very good experience when we purchase our 2005 dodge caravan. Eddie the manager was very friendly and knowledgeable of this vehicle. After our purchase the power locks quit and I called and was told to bring the vehicle back and they had it repaired within a hour. Steve the person who did all of the paper work was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this dealership to friends.

Good Pickup Truck. Thanks

I was just looking to possibly buy a pickup truck. I contacted first choice and got a quick answer. They refused to negotiate over the phone but since I was coming from far away they did. Agreed on a price over email and I showed up the next day to pick it up. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that it did not have any issues and that it actually looked a lot better than it did online. I was not disappointed and that what matters. I think they?re honest guys selling good vehicles. Yes, if am in the market for another truck, I?d check with them first. Jason.

A good honda civic.

My husband and I have just purchased a 2003 Honda civic from first choice. We both think the price was right and the car is good. we tried to get a one year warranty for free but couldn?t. We bargained a little and got them to give us a 6 month drive train built in the negotiated price of the car which we think is not bad. They were very accommodating and did not waste too much time printing the paper work. The entire process took about 35 minutes more or less. There was no high pressure selling. We had a great experience and a great car.

My daughter's first car.

This was the 4th car dealership we visited that day and was by far the one most welcoming. The car was there as promised and we were given the keys on time and allowed to test drive it. We were treated with respect and all of our questions were answered. The next day, we took it to a mechanic we?ve known for years and he only picked on two items, otherwise he said the car was excellent. After some negotiations over the phone we agreed on a lower price that worked for both of us. No complaints so far and my daughter is driving to college almost daily. We would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good transportation. Thanks. Stephen.

Great place to buy a used car!

We purchased a mini van from 1st Choice Auto and could not be more impressed with their high level of customer service. After a couple months of searching for and test driving cars, we visited this dealership to test drive a mini van that had just been listed the day before. We called ahead to verify that the vehicle was there and Steve had it ready to drive when we pulled in the lot. The car drove really well and had low mileage for its model year. We had a few concerns about the condition of the vehicle and the staff went out of their way to investigate the concerns immediately. They did not make any excuses and since the vehicle was so new in their inventory, they asked for another day to ensure all concerns were addressed. We returned the following evening to drive the car again and not only were our concerns addressed, but the car was immaculate. During our two month car shopping experience, we visited several other dealerships and spoke with other salesmen. Most of our experience yielded vehicles that were not as advertised and salesmen who made excuses for mechanical issues and invented other interested buyers in order to pressure us into purchasing on the spot. We were so disappointed from our experiences at every other place that we visited that we were skeptical of trying one more. However, our experience with 1st Choice Auto could not have been more opposite. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We did not feel any pressure at all to make a decision on a purchase and all of our questions received honest and direct responses. We highly recommend 1st Choice Auto and will look here first when we are ready to make our next vehicle purchase.

what a great experience

I did not want to leave. We worked with Steve when we came to look at the car and through the buying process - he was great! No-pressure environment and Steve was upfront and willing to answer all of my questions. The office was clean and the cars on the lot are clean and well-maintained. From start to finish the paperwork and purchase process was smooth. Steve was efficient and very friendly - not at all what I expected from a car salesman. I highly recommend 1st Choice - don't forget to ask for Steve.

Couldn't have been any happier with the car.

Absolutely perfect. I could not find anything wrong with my car. The paint was shiny, interior looked great and the tires were just about new. They were true gentleman and professional the way they handled the transaction. I spoke with the dealership Manager Eddie. I told him I was in the car business back in the 80s, real nice guy. We agreed on the price and took the Buick home the same day. Now we know where to go when we need a good used car.

99 Chevy Lumina

I'm very satisfied with my 99 Lumina purchase from 1st Choice Auto - found them randomly doing search for good used car in my budget and after finding not much at large dealer lots decided to stop by - nice variety of cars and prices. Bill, the sales manager, was great to work with, low pressure professional environment and will work with you on the price. When I left with my car the owner came over and made sure everything was taken care and thanked me and had the tank filled up. I would definitely look here again.
