Unfortunately, we have not had a great experience with

Unfortunately, we have not had a great experience with Performance Ford. We dropped our motorhome for a simple service in October. We had an appointment for the week after Columbus Day. They had our motorhome for nearly two months. 90% of the time it was just sitting in the parking lot. First, they lied to us about the exhaust having rust. My husband asked for pictures because he didn’t believe it. They ignored him and never sent the pictures. He called over and over again and no one answered for weeks. Finally, he stopped in and looked at the exhaust and found no rust. There was a perfectly straight “crack” in it. Weeks went by and he would call and call again, and no one would answer or return his calls. Finally, in mid December, it was ready for pick up. To our surprise, we discovered substantial damage to our motorhome. It appears that someone backed it into something and they neglected to tell us. We discovered a hole in our roof, along with damage to the right side of our motorhome. We filed a police report and the officer asked us if this was the motorhome that they backed into a building. We were shocked because this was the first we were speaking to an officer regarding the damage. When I asked Performance Ford if they filed a police report, they said they did not. So, this has happened to at least 2 motorhomes under their care. We brought it to Country Classic RV Auto Body Repair, and was told the only way to properly fix the damage that was caused by Performance Ford was to re-roof our single piece fiberglass roof, as well as several other things. The total came to just under $15,000.00. Performance Ford also had their auto body shop look at it and pretty much just wants to put a bandaid on the roof and didn’t even mention the rest of the damage. Their total came to just about $1,000.00. They clearly have never worked on motorhomes before, as you cannot patch a single piece fiberglass roof without future leakage. Performance Ford admitted to causing the damage and told us they would “make it right”. It’s now January and they’re ignoring us again. We have tried reaching out many times but they have just been ignoring us and refuse to properly fix the damage that they caused. If you have a motorhome, do not bring it to Performance Ford for service.
