I found a vehicle at Haddad Hyundai almost two months ago listed at $26,900. I offered $24,000 and was told they couldn’t move thousands on the price. A few weeks later, the same car dropped to $24,900. I offered $24,400 to meet them in the middle, and that was still declined. Less than a week later, the car dropped again to $24,172. Nobody contacted me. I reached out, agreed to purchase it at $24,172, and scheduled an appointment. I then contacted my loan provider, completed all necessary wiring forms, and had everything ready to send the dealership. I repeatedly asked for the purchase paperwork so I could sign and keep things moving. I was told the finance manager was busy with other deals and would contact me later that day. He never did. I was then told someone would reach out the next day. Instead, I received a text saying the car had been sold by another salesperson. After two months of negotiating, arranging financing, completing wiring paperwork and scheduling an appointment, I was simply told the car was gone. I called Cal, a manager, for an explanation. I was extremely frustrated and raised my voice. Cal hung up on me during the first call. I called back, and while I explained my frustration, Cal laughed and said, “It doesn’t feel good, does it?” I understand cars can sell and dealerships have other customers. That’s not my issue. My issue is the lack of communication, repeated delays, failure to provide paperwork I repeatedly requested, and how management handled the situation. I have saved the texts, paperwork and documentation from the entire process, along with a voice recording of my conversation with Cal. I can provide everything to anyone who wants to hear exactly what happened. If you want the screenshots, texts, wiring paperwork or documentation, email me at [email protected]. I’m happy to share it so people can make their own judgment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the communication and delays throughout the process. We understand how disappointing it must have been to complete financing arrangements, prepare the necessary paperwork, and schedule an appointment, only to learn that the vehicle had been sold. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the vehicle’s availability, we recognize that clearer and more timely communication was important. We also take your comments regarding your conversation with management seriously, as that is not the experience we want our customers to have. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly, review what occurred, and address your concerns. We will reach out so we can discuss this with you further. Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention.
Bryan, I sincerely apologize for your experience and appreciate you taking the time to speak with me and provide your feedback. We take your concerns very seriously and are reviewing our processes and taking corrective action to ensure we do better going forward. If there is anything further I can do to help make things right, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at 413-242-0103. — John Buxton, COO Haddad Family Dealerships
I already had a manager call me and discuss the whole situation to only be laughed at and told “it’s not fun is it” not even sure what that even meant. Cal Jesse and Jordan were super unprofessional during this whole sale. You sold the car I was buying without telling me or letting me know after I tried purchasing this vehicle for over a month. It was prices super high and then got adjusted since no one was buying it so unless you can get me my car back there is nothing you can do and I will continue to post online and on social medias with followings
Thank you for your response. I appreciate you acknowledging the issues, but I have already tried to address this directly with management. I called and spoke with a manager, and during the first call I was hung up on. I called back a second time, and instead of taking my concerns seriously, I was laughed at. I was also told, “It’s not fun, is it?” I’m honestly not even sure what that was supposed to mean, but it certainly did not make me feel like my concerns were being taken seriously. At this point, I don’t feel there is much more for me to discuss with the dealership unless there is a meaningful resolution. The only resolution I am interested in at this point is having my vehicle back or being provided the same vehicle at the same price I was originally prepared to purchase it for. George Haddad has already emailed me directly and stated that he will personally deal with this matter. I will wait to hear back from George when he returns to town and see how he intends to resolve the issues Thank you.
