First to say, I bought a very nice used car-- TOYOTA yairs 2010. It looks new and clean, the car surface and inside don't have any scratch or something. And I feel good when drive it. This car is recommend by Shane. I also do a lot research online. The price is very fair. Like 1000 lower than most I search online from other websites. Second, the Ames Cars is a good company. It provides standard service to process the title and license plate to me. Finally, the great Shane is very kind. He helps me all the process of buying a car. Like get title, license plate, buy car insurance and even pass drive license test. Yes, he did teach me drive and told me the rules on the road. This helped me get used to drive very quick. I'm satisfied with Shane and Ames Cars.

I have purchased multiple cars from Ames Cars. Their vehicle inventory is diverse and perfectly caters to the needs of the diverse socioeconomics and demographics of Ames and beyond. In fact, Charles and Buddy have even worked with me to locate and stock particular vehicle makes/models of interest. For this particular purchase, Ames Cars happened to have a vehicle model that I've had my eye on for a few years. Shane Dunphy let me test drive the vehicle while I happened to be in Ames on business, after which I had to leave town. He followed up and helped me through the process of having the vehicle checked over by a mechanic, and fielded at least 50 questions that I had before deciding to make the purchase. He provided top-notch customer service with patient, rapid responses to my questions. When the day came for me to pick up my new(used) car, Shane had all of the paperwork in order so the purchase process was quick and painless. The car was in pristine, clean condition. I highly recommend this dealer and salesperson for their capacity to meet the needs of used car buyers. Overall, Ames Cars provides excellent attention to customer service and a pleasant, proficient buying experience.

I went in to buy a vehicle from this lot a couple days ago. Shane was the consultant I had been working with through the entire process. He made it very easy and painless. Which is not how it normally goes buying a car. I am a student working as an intern. Even despite that he got me approved for a loan with a very good interest rate. Great guy all around. Definitely not your typical car sales man. I give him and the company he works for five stars for sure!

We recently purchased a new van for our growing family from Shane at Amescars and we couldn't be happier. We got a good price for our trade in and while we were moving funds around they offered to hold the check until we were in the clear. Plus they set aside the van for us without extra charge, because they knew we loved it. This is the second vehicle I've bought from them and I still have the first one too. Shane has a great way with customers to make you feel like you are the most important customer he has, something you don't get at those large dealerships. I never felt pressured or haggled to make a purchase, Shane is very personable and great with kids too!

Shane's a good guy whose building a business by doing the right thing. We came from out of state on a Saturday because Shane had the car we wanted. Not five minutes after arriving, he handed us the keys and said take as long as you need. Drove it back to MN that night with nothing but a bill-of-sale and a promise from an IA dealer that we'd get a title and get things straight with MN DMV. Pretty dumb eh? Monday Shane told us he had a problem with the title. He overnighted the title back to the out-of-state previous owner, kept us in communication, and 10 days later we had title in hand and MN plates.
