So impressed with the professionalism and courtesy provided by Pablo. I never felt pressured, and he made the car buying experience hassle free, and enjoyable. You can tell that both the dealership, and Pablo, honestly care about the customers, and have their best interest in mind. Even if I was interested in another type of vehicle in the future, great employees, and businesses like Pablo, and West Islip, will make you dismiss that thought!

I typically don’t write reviews on things but I truly just went through truly the best car buying experience of my life with Pablo Cortdate a very fine salesperson from VW of West Islip. He made this whole entire day so seamless and took the stress and anxiety out of the car buying experience so I feel like I owed him this review. Sleazy.

Sleazy. Here’s how it works… First they swipe your credit card for $500 telling you they want you to do that in good faith bargaining. The price negotiation is chaotic… But they have something else up their sleeve – they’re waiting to hit you with unreasonable fees, once you have come to terms on “a deal and a price“ They have you insure the car before the deal is finalized… To kind of lock you into it. Then you get into the finance office where you are hit with unreasonable fees that can total in our case $10,000! (A little more negotiation and they got it down to about $8000). There is no transparency… little disclosure… serious questions are answered with a joke. Really a bad experience… On top of it all the $500 good Faith money – they refuse to return it… It’s hard to believe dealerships like this can stay business in the digital age… So I’m doing my civic duty here by spreading the word about a dealership you should avoid. Wish I had!

Please stop pretending to be attentive online while ignoring real customer concerns. I’ve reached out twice — once spoken to you, once left a voicemail — and got nothing. If you care about transparency and service, charge back to my credit card the $500 you were not authorized to keep.
