My experience working with Mr. Ardis Toney at Long of Chattanooga was hands down the smoothest large purchase I've made. I was rear-ended by a drunk driver... that totaled my previous vehicle. Then COVID-19 quarantined us all and lastly Easter 2020 Tornado ripped through our community. The solo test drive with extra hand sanitizer and steering wheel cover were all very accommodating. We negotiated a very fair deal on a 2010 Toyota Highlander. Look him up when it's time for your vehicle, new or pre-owned.
Our second Hyundai from these guys and they always do a stellar job. Yes car repairs are annoying and time consuming, but they always make sure things... get done and relatively quickly.
Cedric Toney took the time to explain everything very helpful real nice person after purchasing next few days the GM and Cedric really took the time... I'd like the car and service
I highly recommend Long Hyundai to anyone on the market for a great buying experience. I have now purchased 4 new cars from this dealership and my salesman... Zack has always been the only one I have bought from. He stays in contact and walks you through setting up all of the features on the vehicle. Super knowledgeable and a pleasure to buy from!
Everything was Perfect couldn’t ask for better people or service Mike and Zac were great. They covered everything in detail and really cared about helping... me and my family
Employees were very attentive, facilities were clean. We had to wait for our auto to be serviced but it was a Friday afternoon. We waited about 45 minutes... longer than expected.
I was told at my previous service that the next one would be about $400. It was about $600. I was told before the service, but I was already there...... They wanted to service my auto every 4,000 miles. I said the manual recommended every 7,000 miles. He had to change to sticker on the windshield and reset the electronic warning.
I leased a new 2020 Hyundai Kona Ultimate from Long Hyundai. Ardis Toney was the sales person that helped me. Why can't all sales people be as awesome... as he is. He bent over backwards to get me the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted. He was extremely informative and he knew the answers to the hundreds of questions I had. I have purchased 21 vehicles so far in my life. Ardis Toney has been the best salesman I have ever had. Long Hyundai and Ardis Toney have a customer for life. I will not only buy from them but my whole family will only buy from them.
Absolutely great experience! I have purchased new vehicles before and I always felt like I was cheated but not here at Long Hyundai. From Paul the salesman... being so helpful 2 Mike the manager negotiating straightforward honest and fairly to the finance department asking what I want and not trying to add extras that I didn't ask for. Strongly recommend this dealership.. Went out of town and online to other dealerships and the best price was right here at Long Hyundai in Chattanooga.
If you're going to buy a car from Long Hyundai, I strongly recommend you look at the price on the internet first because otherwise you may end up negotiating... from a much higher starting price and end up paying more for the car than you would otherwise. This happened to me recently. The sticker price on my car was $450 more than the price that was advertised on the internet. I realized this after I got the car home (I drove from Knoxville, Tennessee to Chattanooga) and did a Google search on the VIN. Had I started my negotiations from the internet price, I would have paid at least $450 less for my car, and I certainly never would have walked out with a deal that was only $200 below sticker price. (You can't see it on the photos I uploaded, but the internet price on the car was $14,850.) Ultimately, I discussed this problem with Mike Nichols, the General Sales Manager, and in not so many words he told me, "Too bad. A deal is a deal." I wholeheartedly agree with this concept under the right circumstances, but inaccurate pricing of a vehicle by the dealer is hardly what I consider a right circumstance. Mr. Nichols apparently doesn't care enough to do anything to make things right even when the burden of responsibility falls squarely on his shoulders. You see a lot of 5-star reviews on Google for Long Hyundai. In fact, they have an average rating of over 4.7 stars, but I wonder if there's a reason for that? While I was there, my salesman literally stood over me and pressured me to give him a 5-star review. He watched and made sure I did it. That was weird for me, but I did it anyway because overall I *thought* I'd had a pretty good experience. I wonder how many people don't want to give a good review but are intimidated into doing it anyway? (I don't see that review on Google, but it is on dealerrater.com.) You also see negative reviews for them on Google, none of which have any response from Long Hyundai. In other words, they don't take care of their disgruntled customers, only the ones who give them good reviews. That says a lot about a company.
