I paid Westlie Ford $388 to change 4 halogen bulbs on a
I paid Westlie Ford $388 to change 4 halogen bulbs on a 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I supplied two H11 bulbs and they charged $50/each for 2xH9 bulbs that retail fior $20 O’Reilly’s (where they bought them) and $15/each at most retailers. They charged another $46 in shop supplies (on 4 bulbs?) and said they charge a 3% fee unless payment is by cash/debit (also not disclosed). They refunded the $46.69 for “Shop Fees” and felt they were doing me a favor. I feel otherwise: if it’s not disclosed in the quote, it shouldn’t be on the invoice. Not unless the scope of work changed. Changing 4 lightbulbs cost $341.69 (including their 150% markup on halogen bulbs). It’s a shoulder shrug for the dealer and price gouging to me. Imagine what 4 spark plugs, or a sensor, will cost.

Excellent service.
Excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Able to get my truck in for service quickly, and the shuttle service/delivery of my vehicle to my home when work was completed was a wonderful benefit.
