I had to have warranty work done on my car.

I had to have warranty work done on my car. Giles left my car filthy. Their mechanic did not use seat covers, and left grease.on my door. They had to change a part that included 4 wheel alignment but still tried to charge me. They told me my battery was bad, knowing that a notice had been put out by Subaru regarding their starling system had been killing g batteries. Yet Giles tried to charge me $496.00 for a new battery that should have been replaced free. I will never use Giles Subaru for anything.

Mike and Troy sold my wife and I a Beautiful Truck and

Mike and Troy sold my wife and I a Beautiful Truck and provided us the best deal possible. What was more impressive was service after the sale. Obviously they believe customer relationships through service is even more important than the sale. Thanks again, Rick and Annette 👍

I would give a zero if possible. My wife recently...

I would give a zero if possible. My wife recently ordered a vehicle through Subaru and it was delivered to Giles Subaru in Lafayette, Louisiana. However, the dealership literally had her in tears. She was basically held hostage in the dealership for three hours! They would not let her pay for her vehicle and leave. She met with the salesman as well as the sales manager who aggressively continued to pressure her to buy packages and warranties she did not want. They would not release the vehicle! After three hours of being subjected to this, she started crying and walked out. Only at that point did they say they would take her payment and let her leave.

Giles Volvo

Our sales advisor, Leo was awesome. He was kind, considerate and very accommodating. Most of all, he knew everything about the vehicle and explained in detail. We visited Giles Volvo 12 years ago. We stood in the showroom for 30 minutes and no one acknowledged us or offered to help. We left, drove to Baton Rouge and left same day with a Lexus. We’ve purchased 5 Lexus vehicles during that time and referred 3 friends who also made a purchase. I decided to give Giles another chance. This time the experience was totally different. We were greeted by Leo within a minute of walking in. Leo has restored my faith in Giles and is a great asset to their organization. I will refer friends and family and anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle to Leo. The only suggestion I would give would be to give a few Volvo branded items with the purchase. I have many Lexus whiskey glasses, mugs, tote bags and umbrellas. Pulling out a Lexus umbrella and wearing my Lexus watch now feels like I’m cheating on my new Volvo 😂.

Professional and courteous experience with service

Great buying experience. Professional and courteous staff, great price. Service Dept did a great job with a minor repair. Nice, clean facility, I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a Volvo.

Negative turned Positive!

After a pretty negative experience at this dealership, the President called me himself and was unbelievably patient, honestly listened, and was generally remorseful. He fixed everything that initially was desired. I am very impressed with how he handled everything. Although it took a lot of frustration, in the long run this dealership proved itself to be honorable and withstanding. I highly appreciate this call and, if anyone is having a negative experience or questions that just don't seem to be getting answered, I advise them to ask to speak to the president himself or call the cardboard life sized guy (the owner) standing right inside the doors (I missed him which is why this ended up taking so long to get established). The owners name is Bob Giles and his number is 337-210-9020. Thank you again to the president who turned this very negative experience into a positive one. Now.... it's time to thoroughly enjoy that Subaru!

Thanks for satisfactory warranty maintenance

Newly relocated from another state, my car was nagging for scheduled maintenance, and as I prefer to use the dealer, I went to Giles, the only Volvo dealer in the area. It took nearly a week to get a maintenance appointment, perhaps due to the holiday crush, but that's not a big problem. Once I got there, the staff was friendly, and the service was performed in a timely manner. I was disappointed when they told me they couldn't do state inspection, so I advised them I was going to get the state inspection just after the service, and to please make sure I would pass. They missed a burned out bulb and I had to go back a couple of hours later to get the bulb replaced. That was an annoyance.
