When my car wouldn?

When my car wouldn?t start, I called Sterling -McCall: Service department, our usual service rep, customer service and even nee car sales, but all I got over the next 45 minutes was voice mail, no human voice, no call back and no option to set up a repair visit on line! It was most frustrating and frankly, angering!!! Finally, I gave up and called Lexus Road Service. After a polite staffer listened to my saga, she recommended I call ASA. I did, and I finally got a human voice and a tow truck within 15 minutes. We towed the car to Sterling McCall, tracked down a maintenance service rep and got the car fixed. But, id this the way Sterling McCall envisions customer service? Should I buy a car from a company that doesn?t answer the phone when I need it? This is very poor customer service and shatters my confidence in this dealership. I?m on the market for a new car, but will go elsewhere, where customer service is still alive!
