Initially spoke with Melissa. Nice lady. Sent daughter & son-in-law to look at vehicle of interest. Not at all what was represented on-line. Melissa not there. Another party met with my family and were not very hospitable. Showed another car. Too many serious problems. Son-in-law and daughter left with bad experience with Inline Auto Dealer.

Purchased a vehicle that is considered a lemon. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from them because they will not respond to you. Vehicle needs major repairs.

We have responded to every inquiry that you have made to us through cars.com to the email address that you provided Mrs.Brown. We would never intend to sell anyone a lemon. If the car was purchased months ago and it is just now having problems, anything could have happened in between these months. Regular maintenance is needed for new and used vehicles. By law in NC, we have to sell our vehicles "As-is" but we do offer warranties through third party companies to every customer and we also allow our customers to bring the vehicle to get a pre-purchase inspection or we welcome your mechanic to our lot. We also contacted our mechanic to get the best price for the necessary repairs and let this customer know.
great car buying experience
I called up this dealership to ask about a 2005 Ford Freestyle and get some info before I drove all the way there from New Bern. I spoke with Sam and he was very helpful. When I arrived Sam grabbed the keys right away and showed me the car. I felt that the deal was fair, my trade value was fair, and they offered a warranty from a third party that was well priced. The experience was very pleasant and I never felt anyone was pushy at all. Very nice to do business with.

Excellent Service
I bought Suzuki car from Inline Auto Sales. The car is in very good condition and runs smooth and excellent. Tony and John are very friendly and I didn't have any sort of problem dealing with them right from selecting the car till the moment I took the car. They did not say any false statements about the car. That actually helped me selecting a car of my choice and satisfaction. They completely cleaned the car and did all the repairs and checks before delivering the car. The car didn't had proper handles and they replaced it for me. Car looked really good and gives great mileage too. Thanks Tony and John, great dealing with you guys.

Great buying experience!
I don't know where to start about these guys. I did not expect to buy the car I was test driving, and I'll be honest: I was a little put off by the fact that they had to ride with me, but I understand since it was a very nice BMW. That said, as soon as we started riding, my wife and I realized that the car was something we could be seriously interested in. After being annoyed by how "stiff" the prices were at other lots, knowing that the sticker prices are often a bit inflated, Sam told us that everything is negotiable. I appreciated Sam's calm, relaxed, friendly attitude, and the way he was very knowledgeable about the particular car I was curious about possibly buying. Now just because I like someone doesn't mean I'm going to buy a car from them... At the end of the day, though, my wife went out on a limb and did an impulse buy--which, mind you, had nothing to do with any pressure. There was no pressure. Now, after working with me to get the price as low as it could conceivably go, and much farther down than anywhere else (ebay, Craigslist, autotrader), I cut a check. The thing that made things interesting is that the car actually malfunctioned, went in "limp mode," and was effectively broken down the following day. This was very strange since it had been such a beautiful and smooth machine the day before. Of course I was devastated, but figured I bought the car "as is," and should have done my due diligence with a mechanic beforehand. Anyhow, when I told Sam about the issue, he immediately drove to my home to take a look at the car himself. When he couldn't get it running himself, he told me he was afraid it could be the catalytic converter which is VERY expensive for BMW's. But the shocking thing is this: he promised to pay for the repairs. Hello, folks... that is UNHEARD OF in the used car industry. So without any warranty implied or otherwise, he had my vehicle repaired and it's now an EXCEPTIONAL machine. I've bought plenty of cars, and this has been very refreshing. Inline Auto doesn't mess around. They're straight up. No lot can know if every last car is in absolutely perfect shape (and used cars can't be literally flawless), but these guys do a heck of a great job. Kudos. I'm very impressed and pleased with my purchase.

They must be Millionairs!
Found their dealership through Cars.com, then found exactly what I was looking for, at a price I could afford. Sent them an email with all my contact information, including both my phone number and email address. I asked a couple of questions regarding the vehicle, and asked them to get back with me as soon as possible. To his date I still have not heard from them! Makes me wonder why they would advertise (spending money), then not bother to follow up when they get contacted. Either they are Super Rich and just this as a Hobby, or they are complete fools. You decide. I vote the latter. Let them keep their cars, and I will keep my money. My old Grandpa had a term for folks like these guys, "KNOTHEADS".

Doesn't care for business
Went to go look at a couple of trucks for my husband. Put in a financing application and after several phone calls in to them to follow up, never received word on whether or not application was approved. I definitely do not recommend this place. You won't have to look hard to find a MUCH better dealership.

We respond to every customer as soon as we hear from our finance companies and lenders. The email address and phone number given on the application is who we reply to. Sometimes there are errors on the application where the customer misspells their email address or mistypes their phone number. We do not do on the lot financing so we have to wait to hear back from a third party for approval.
