Great Salesman Orlando Baca
This is my second purchase at Chapman. We went in with no expectations but met a wonder wonderful sales man Orlando Baca. He was gracious and took his time with us even being considerate to our son who has ADHD so he was not being the most patient or quiet. He was able to get us in to a great vehicle and made a normally stressful situation when with kids enjoyable. I really appreciated his personable attitude and his attention to details. My son is in love with Orlando, definately recommend him to anyone and everyone it was a breath of fresh air to not feel like you are being attacked by vultures when you go to the dealership. I truly feel that Orlando will be part of the family. When we come around to buy another vehicle we will definately use him again..

Thank you so much to Raymond Russo, Jason Strachan and Dan Landers for helping to make my buying experience a great one. I got a great car at a good price with fantastic interest at a monthly payment I could afford. I would certainly tell others to check out what they have and be assisted by a company with employees that are not about the 'almighty dollar' but about the personal person. Not easy to find in these times!

False advertisement
I went into Chapman on May 10th 2014, after recieveing a phone call from a sales person stating that he can reduce my interest rate as well as get me into a newer vehicle. When i got the call i was very satisified that they are following up with me. We went in on Saturday morning meet with the sales man and sat down and talked numbers. He stepped away to speak with the finance department about what they can do to get me into a newer car. He came back and stated that they could lower my interest and get me into a new car. We finalized all the paperwork and when signing the finance direct stated that there would be no down payment and my monthly payments would be X amount. We were very satisified with the deal and really thought that it was to good to be true. We left Chapman that saturday and went home. Next thing i know the finincal director calls my husband and says that the contract is voided because the bank wants money down for the negative we owed on the car. Shouldnt this been addressed at signing, i am very upset that we signed and thought everything was okay and now they are saying there are issues with the bank. I will never return here and continue to not recommend to any family friends and or coworker. I is ashame that my deal ended this way because we were very satisfied customers.

Our sales person, Orlando Baca was superb! He was very kind, not pushy, he worked very hard to get us what we wanted and it paid off in the end! Do NOT buy a car here!!!!
I bought a used car from Chapman 9 months ago and it's the worst running car I've ever owned. Within the first two months it started slipping. I took it in for service and it needed a whole new transmission. Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty to pay for it but they kept it for 2 weeks. Last week my engine lit came on and the same problem started happening. I took it back in and they told me I couldnt get a rental car under my warranty until they diagnosed the problem which took them a week. They told me that my spark plugs went bad, had an oil leak and it needed front brakes which would cost me $1,600! I've already replaced the bake brakes and rotors. I asked them if they even inspected the vehicle before they sold it because how could it have so many maintenance problems in the last 8 months. The service manager told me that I must drive hard and need to take better care of it. My family has purchased 3 cars from there and recommended me to go there. Now with all the problems with my car, none of my family will ever go back! Jessica Fierro

Best sales person ever!!
My daughter and her wife took me to this dealership and all I can say is that Ray Russo was top of the line. I was up front and honest about not having great crefit and he was up front and honest about what to expect. The process was smooth and seamless. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Nightmare at Chapman.
I contacted Chapman in regards to a possible used car purchase. My credit is not very good and I explained that on the phone. Sherry in Customer Care was stellar, always professional even when I had to reschedule. I arrived and met the sales person, Randy who is brand new at Chapman. We discussed a Saturn Relay Van that I had seen advertised in their used car section. It was at a different lot and we went and looked at it and other vehicles. The Saturn van was what I decided to try to purchase. I was given the keys and followed Randy back to the lot. As I started driving a couple different lights lit up and then the readout proceeded to show different problems with the vehicle that needed fixed. One of them was an ABS? (brakes), also traction and oil change. I shook the whole way back and prayed it wouldn't break down on the main street. The salesman was not aware of all the issues with the vehicle. The sales manager came over explained that cars on that lot had not been taken in for repair. I was shocked. You would put a potential customer behind the wheel of a car that needs repairs. I looked at some more vehicles also before I talked to the sales manager. I asked for the vehicle to be fixed with a 2 year warrant and three thousand off the price knowing it would not happen, Before you test drive a used vehicle at Chapman please ask them if all repairs have been made. I am dealing with a small dealer whom I have purchased from before and will be buying my new used car from them.

GREAT SERVICE!
2/11/2014 my wife's 2009 Malibu broke down and left us stranded . We were approx.3 miles from Chapman Chevrolet and I had never done previous dealings with them and being a VERY "anal" Corvette owner I was very concerned with taking her car there for repairs. It was after hours so I rolled the dice and had the tow truck driver deliver it to them, a decision I would certainly would NOT regret later! The next morning I was there in person even before they opened up. I am the most picky FUSSY car person would ever not want to meet . Her car is black in color and maintained in my fussy "anal " manner just like I do my Corvette.I was more concerned with it getting scratches or dings (along with the fact I wanted it repaired Correctly the first time). I lucked out, I got Ken Schultz as my service advisor and Mike Jones as my technician. WHAT A POSITVE experience. I will make this dealership my first choice in the future and will continue going there as long as I continue to get the same High Quality of sevice, and respect shown to me even after being such a "hard " person to please regarding the care of our vehicles . Awesome sales and finance crew!! A++++
My husband and I have horrible credit from many years ago. But it was time for a new car since our old one was barely holding on for us. So we took a look around online and found Chapman Chevy and they had reasonable prices and the car we were looking for. My husband got in contact with David Smith who ended up doing a ton of foot work for us over the phone since the dealer was so far from us. After David trying to find a good deal and us changing our minds on the vehicle type multiple times we just ended going down to the dealership in person. When we got there we worked with Bill Van Shyhock, David's partner. And these two men were outstanding in service and hospitality!! Bill made us feel like we had the cash to buy any car on the lot, and that was awesome considering we didn't and our credit is poor. He was just very honest and really wanted to make sure he could get us the best deal!! Bill and David's honesty is what really won us over, they were not just trying to make a sale they were truely concerned with what we wanted. We are completely satisfied with the whole experience with Chapman and if you are looking to buy a new car go to Chapman and speak with Bill or David. And our kids loved the fresh made popcorn in the customer lounge!!
