Updated Review: Because of our positive previous experiences, we purchased a third vehicle from Velocity after the first vehicle we bought was totaled in an accident. Unfortunately, this experience has been completely different. We are extremely disappointed and can no longer recommend Velocity or purchase another vehicle from them. Approximately 70 days after purchasing the vehicle, the transmission failed. A dealership recommended replacing it at a cost of approximately $8,000. We then took the vehicle to a transmission specialist, who performed a temporary repair for about $600 but advised us that the transmission will still need to be replaced in the near future. When we contacted Velocity to discuss the issue, they declined to provide any meaningful assistance beyond reimbursing the approximately $200 diagnostic fee. Since then, the air conditioning has also begun to fail and is no longer blowing cold air, leaving us without reliable A/C during the Utah summer. Based on what both the dealership and the transmission shop told us, they believed the transmission was already exhibiting signs of failure before we purchased the vehicle and that those issues likely would have been identified had the transmission been thoroughly inspected. We feel that we ended up purchasing a lemon. While we understand that used vehicles can have unexpected problems, we expected much more from a dealership we had trusted enough to buy from three times. The vehicle’s major mechanical failures so soon after purchase, combined with Velocity’s unwillingness to stand behind the sale in any meaningful way, have caused us to lose confidence in the dealership. We encourage prospective buyers to carefully consider our experience when deciding whether to purchase a vehicle from Velocity. Original Review: We purchased our second car from Velocity Auto Sales last week. We looked at many cars at multiple dealers and returned to Velocity since they have the cleanest, well maintained cars for the best price. We actually like that they don’t dicker with the price as that makes the entire experience less stressful. This time we worked with Colton Bain. Colton was patient and helpful as we looked at and drove multiple vehicles. We enjoyed his pressure free and sincere attitude as he provided us all the time we needed to drive and check out the cars. We appreciate that Velocity lets the customer drive their cars without the salesman in the car. This really enables the customer to check out the car in a comfortable environment. Overall, we had a terrific experience and will return when it’s time to purchase another vehicle.

They lied about their warranty. They said if I didn’t use it there would be a refund. They didn’t honor their word. Seems like they would just tell you anything to make a sale. Very dishonest.

I honestly cannot leave a descriptive review because though the manager Carla said she'd get back to me, she has yet to do so. I asked if a specific vehicle was still available as seen on their website and I've yet to hear anything back.

Notified me right away didn’t even see my trade before and gave me a ball park amount. I drive 2 hours got there they had the vehicle ready and out the door in an hour. No xx, completely upfront.
