I bought a 2017 Nissan Truck in April 2021, it is now...

I bought a 2017 Nissan Truck in April 2021, it is now August 16th. I have never received the title. I called DMV Carson city. they told me it has never been received. Fairway Chevy will not return my calls. My Lien Holder is very upset, I have received tickets for no plates or registration. But have paid for the title transfer. This is the worst service I have ever received from any dealership.

AWFUL!!!

My experience with Fairway Chevrolet is what I believe to be borderline fraud. I sold my truck to Fairway 30 days ago and still have not been paid for my vehicle. I was initially told it would take two weeks. I was asked to wait a third week which wasn't a problem for me because thank god I'm not in desperate need of the money as many Americans are with all of the havoc COVID has created. It is now 30 days later which is a problem at this point as I put a deposit down on another vehicle and have not lived up to my time sensitive obligations with the seller. Today I was lied to and treated as if I was a villain for coming in and requesting my money that is clearly with no uncertain terms owed to me. I offered to pay them by cash, cashiers check or bank wire the small amount of funds they paid to pay off my vehicle and to just return my vehicle with a no harm, no foul mindset. To which I was told "We'll sell you your vehicle back" You can't sell me a vehicle that you never fully paid me for in the first place. I googled my VIN Number and saw traces of the for sale listing of my Truck, it appears they have actually sold it, again I am not 100% sure if they have but I do not see it on their lot nor on their website, only what appears to be an outdated listing for it on Google linking me to their website. At this point I have no idea when they will pay me, where my truck is and don't know where the 18,000.00 dollars that is owed to me is. This is the type of dealership this is. Up until this point my experiences have been very pleasant, if you are in need of a car or truck Jose Sandoval is the guy to see. He will do his best to get you in what you want and make sure you are satisfied with your purchase! If you need your vehicle serviced, Brandon Paquin in the service department is a very honest and reliable service agent who gives straight answers to your questions and gets the job done in a timely manner. If you are looking to sell your vehicle it is my recommendation that you save yourself some aggravation and go somewhere else, AS IN ANYWHERE ELSE! This is my true experience and not a representation of anyone else's experience.

At one time they had a good service dept but not anymore....

At one time they had a good service dept but not anymore. We went there because of what we heard but what a lie. We had a 11:00. Appointment and 3 hours latter they’ve not touch the vehicle. Terrible service and don’t yank your Chevy gmc or any vehicle for service. I spoke with other customers and they stated the same. Never agsin

Over Charged with Hidden Fees at Service Dept

Brought vehicle in for AC check. Said needed new ac compressor. Bill came out to $1740. They charged $1343 to install 300 part. Said they used a flat fee from a book on how long it is supposed to take. Never told me. No labor rates posted in the service area. Never informed by a service advisor this was their labor method. Other times I paid way less for labor rates. Their fee for the 5-6 hours comes out to $223 an hour!!!!!!! Stay away. Get written estimate. Ask what their rates are. Deceiving to customers.

WEnt to Fairway Chevy to have AC inspected. Said I needed a new ac compressor. The advisor said they had parts in stock. I got the bill and it was $1740 dollars but only $319 for the part. It was $1343 in labor. It equates to $223 an hour for the 5-6 hours it took. The customer service lady said they used a book to find out how long it should take then billed a flat rate for 8 hours when it only took half the time.No labor rates posted in service area. Never told about the flat rate scam. Don't go to this business. I have gone for years and they used to charge a standard labor rate, now they try to swindle you and overcharge. Avoid this business!!!!!!! The business won't negotiate to get my money back for over charged labor fees. They do not care about customer satisfaction. I have had Chevy for 20 years, but thank goodness I am trading suburban in for Escalde. Im sure their sales guy will be upset when I tell him all for being overbilled by $500 dollars

I wasn’t told about multiple charges on my account until the work was performed. Service wasn’t informative at all. My car was kept for over a week, I had to continue to check on the status of my car repairs instead of the service rep calling me.

Absolutely disappointed,made a deal for a vehicle my children and I test drove on Friday and fell in love with. Already pre-approved through my bank for finance, they did not have to do anything. the day after our deal I contacted them to certify the check and they sold the car and didn’t even bother to tell me. If they couldn’t hold the vehicle they shouldn’t have said that they would. I understand business but be up front. I wouldn’t have been disappointed.

Great Place! ask for ULI

I love this dealership, mostly uli! Uli has sold my family 3 cars now this being the 3rd and every time has been a breeze we don’t spend HOURS here I told him what I came in looking for and told him my situation with credit and what I owed on the trade and he steered me in the right direction showing me plenty of options, he’s a no pressure sales guy that tells you straight forward and I really like that , I walked out about 3 hours later with a new 2020 equinox and love it! As far as the dealership I have brought my car here for all of the maintenance and everyone has been nice and very efficient with getting me in and out in no time! If you’re looking at a GM vehicle come check it out and ask for uli! 20/20 recommend! And thanks again ULI you’re the man!
