From start to finish, a great experience. We reached out online to express interest in a trade in and a new car for purchase/lease. Chayse did a phenomenal... job getting us in the right vehicle within our budget. They were ready with the vehicle we were interested in and, since we came from 2 hrs away, had everything set to get us in our new car by the end of business so we didn't have to make two trips. We love our new car and it was well worth the time spent getting there, a much better experience than we ever had at our local Subaru dealer.
St. J Subaru was fantastic. The service was friendly, helpful and not pushy by any means. They did everything they could to get me into the car I wanted... and still stay in my price range! They were knowledgeable and helpful and worth the 1 1/2 hour drive! I highly recommend them for any car needs or services!
Initially we were very concerned about having no choice but Saint J. Reasons were that we definitely wanted the newly released, limited availability Outback... 3.6R Touring in black, and Saint J was the only dealer around within 100 miles that had one on allocation. We also sold our old car privately and needed to replace it, so we were concerned about having to deal with the only game in town on buying a new car - a process we had come to dread from experience. Happily this turned into the best car buying experience in our many decades of working with dealers. Negotiations were very open, fair and friendly, the sales staff was extremely helpful and responsive to our many questions and requests, and they made the final transaction and decisions on service and warranty options quick, easy, clear and painless. The Outback was beautifully prepped, the sales person was highly knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the new high tech features before we drove off, and the car itself turned out to exceed our expectations on safety, comfort and handling. Though they are not the closest Subaru dealer, we're hoping we can arrange our schedules to work with them on service and maintenance requirements because of this initial experience.

At first, we had a salesman who didn't communicate well after we had explicitly explained our budget and needs. However, Chris Matte stepped in and worked... with us to find a suitable solution, a new 2019 Outback that had features we needed but not things we considered optional. Matt Robinson took over and has done a great job of getting us adjusted to our new car. We drove it to Boston yesterday and were very pleased with the safety features, especially the blind spot signals, so helpful in heavy urban traffic. Overall, we're very pleased we came to St. J and bought a Subaru.
