Brought 430I convertible to dealer for regular service and a noisy rattle from the driver's side rear panel when top is up. No rattle when top is down. My car was dropped off on Saturday and picked up on Tuesday - so plenty of time to inspect. The apparent "fix" was to replace a clip for the parking brake. As soon as I drove off, the rattle was still there. A drive around the block would have made that apparent. I did not have time to leave the car again.
