I dropped my car off for a diagnostic check on a Tuesday. The receptionist told me she would get back to me with the diagnosis by Tuesday afternoon. She called later to apologize, explaining that they hadn't been able to inspect my car due to a power outage, but assured me they would check it first thing Wednesday morning—without fail—and provide the results by Wednesday afternoon. I waited, but she never got back to me. So, I reached out to her on Wednesday; she said they hadn't had time to check it yet and that I would have to wait until Thursday. I waited until Thursday, and again, she didn't get back to me. I contacted them once more, and they told me that the problem with my car had been caused by my previous mechanic, and that if I wanted to proceed with the inspection, it would cost $3,000. I declined and went to pick up my car on Friday. I asked the receptionist if she could provide me with the full diagnostic report via email; she said yes—that she would send it right over. To this day, I am still waiting for that email, which was never sent. Terrible customer service; the mechanics at Rye are awful. I will never return, and I would not recommend them to anyone.
