Buying a Q8 was painful.

Buying a Q8 was painful. Once we decided on the car we wanted it took over 4 hours to complete. EVEN though we were paying cash. The undermining tactics were rude. We walked away questioning our decision.

It was a pleasure to deal with Lucas! He is very professional and friendly. I really appreciated his honesty. When he did not know something about the car I was looking at he either figured it out or he referred me to someone who did! My car buying experience was the best I’ve ever had!

I am extremely frustrated with the service at Audi SD.

I am extremely frustrated with the service at Audi SD. I had my vehicle in for warranty work and was told the brakes and rotors needed replacement based on the service tech assessment. I found it strange since my vehicle had less than 30K miles and most of my miles are highway. I took it to a local mechanic and they stated the caliper was misaligned on my left brake only. when I initially took it back to Audi, the service rep questioned my inquiry when all I asked was for them to recheck the brakes. Turns out my mechanic was right and I almost paid over $3000.00 for brake replacement I did NOT need. I feel locked into taking my vehicle to Audi SD since there are no other options. As much as I like my Q7, I question if I will ever repurchase another Audi based on this and other services I've received. I never leave comments like this and am a very calm and appreciative customer. i hope someone calls to assure me of better service in the future.

Came in for a multi-point inspection of my 2019 SQ5 (which I acquired new at Audi San Diego) because I'm looking to purchase an extended warranty. George Gushulak has been my service advisor there for almost 20 years and is always a pleasure to work with.

If only there were a '0' review.

If only there were a '0' review. I have purchased many vehicles - including Audi's - through the years but this was by far the WORSE experience ever. I bought a 2024 Audi Q5 online for my wife (with a unique color combo of which there are 8 in the US currently) and by phone with the salesman (of 7 years there), he placed a SOLD placard, locked it and put the keys in his desk. We'd cOme to an exact deal including the shipping quote from SD to SLC, so I called this am to wire the funds in full on a cash deal - not financed - only to be told that a "salesman" named George McKenzie sold it from under my and the experienced salesman's eyes - like the xxxxxxx so many of these salesmen are. I called my local SLC Audi dealership and they assured me that, of course, they would have reached out to the salesman who sold me the car to ask re: the viability of our sale - but not Holman Audi in San Diego. And BTW, I'd asked to give a $1k deposit to hold the car, as I usually do, but was told "no need - the car is yours". Really? This is how you run an authorized Audi dealership? I'm contacting the manufacturer directly as well as the Better Business Bureau. Oh and then some :Asst Sales Manager" named Chris calls and offers to sell me a new one and "blow the deal out of the water". No thanks, I'll work on blowing you and your illicit, lowly dealership out of the water online with reviews that illustrate your base business practices. And hint: when they try to upsell you on a "mandatory" 'Stargard Tracking/GPS' system for $1,499 (should cost $899 max btw - look online) - refuse it! They first lied and said it was "already installed and can't be removed" then when I threatened to walk, they offered to "remove it an no cost". xx - it was never installed and you're all liars. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. BUY ELSEWHERE.

Hi Peter! Based on your review and your experience it totally makes sense that you would want to give us a zero. Buying a car even out of state should be transparent and easy. There are out of state logistc challenges, but we clearly dropped the ball here and for that I sincerely apologize.
