@officialaudiusa @audiofescondido 1,800mi left on our 2018 #audi #Q7 prestige till the next oil change. So far car has already burned through a qt of... oil and is dangerously low 1,200mi before the next oil change. Went to Audi of Escondido to top it off to only get nickel and dimed for a top off. Considering I payed $80k for this car including Audi care...intentionally designed to burn oil or not(yeah that's what the service guy told me) I shouldn't be obligated to pay. I've never had this issue @bmw with my #3series Is this the type of service model Audi sets for flasgship customers? Let's not forget the $2k brake job at 15k mi! The instrument panel was lit up like a Christmas tree. For a quart of oil and the poor treatment at the service dept, I'm gonna put your guys on blast. I will make sure you lose a few customers. For ever customer I convince, I win. Think of that. If you are the owner and or manager of this location I would reassess the service protocol when concerned client brings their car in. A new car that burns oil might actually have a more severe underlying problem. Your service technicians shouldn't write off a client like they did today. Treat your flagship customers with better service, because a quart of oil just cost you a few customers. I'm a professional tier 1 automotive designer with 11yrs in the industry. I've spent most of my career working at 2 of the top 3 manufacturers in the world. I've put together vehicles starting from the sketch and worked with thousands of engineers and suppliers to put a vehicle into production. My work has been debut on the world stage at several international auto shows. I don't really appreciate being bulls****d about cars, and can only imagine how often this happens to clients. All my fellow automotive professionals, please don't run your brand like this. Build a great product and back it up. For all of those on the fence, take a look at Volvo. They are putting a great campaign with their cars. And if you are curious why they look great, a few of VW's top designers left for Volvo. But if you do decide to buy an Audi, don't buy from Audi of Escondido. Thanks for reading!
