I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a vehicle from Sheehy Honda. From the beginning, I was given several promises that were either not kept or turned out to be inaccurate. Before purchasing the car, I explained that I needed it for a family event that weekend. Since the vehicle still needed repairs before delivery, the used car manager personally assured me that the car would be delivered to me early in the day so I would have it in time. Because of that promise, I planned my day around receiving the vehicle. On the day of the delivery, I called multiple times and was repeatedly told that the car was finished and that they were just waiting for the driver to bring it to me. Hours went by with no updates. After several phone calls and waiting most of the day, the car wasn’t delivered until much later in the afternoon, which disrupted my plans and caused unnecessary stress. Had I been given an honest timeline from the beginning, I could have made other arrangements. Unfortunately, that was only the start of the issues. I was also told that I had paid for two years of plates and registration, only to later find out it was only for one month. This was not what was explained to me during the purchase. Shortly after buying the vehicle, it needed repairs. I was told I would receive a rental car while it was being fixed. When I arrived at Hertz, I was informed that Honda’s system was down and that I would have to pay for the rental myself and wait to be reimbursed. This was frustrating and should have been communicated before I made the trip. To make matters worse, I was told the repair would take two days, but it ended up taking almost an entire week. Overall, my experience was filled with broken promises, poor communication, and inaccurate information. Buying a car should be an exciting experience, but instead it became frustrating and stressful. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the way customers are treated.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. My husband scheduled an appointment for a simple oil change and ended up waiting more than four hours--with our baby. I spoke with EJ Jenkins, who only apologized and informed me that the General Manager, Farid Qaderi, had already left for the day. When I called back to request that they release the vehicle, Farid unexpectedly answered the phone himself. I explained that our appointment was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and that our son had not eaten since then because they were still waiting. While Farid apologized and checked on my family, he offered no meaningful resolution--no discount, service credit, or any attempt to make up for the excessive delay. My husband and son did not leave until 7:15 p.m. For a routine oil change, this level of service is completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this dealership and would highly advise others to look elsewhere.

If you’re looking for a hassle-free car-buying experience, I highly recommend Ayesha Spivey! She was amazing to work with from start to finish.

To start with, the sale process took 7 hours! I had everything I needed to buy the car. I knew what car I wanted, I had A preapproved loan, I had insurance, I had 50% down payment. The salesperson, great no problem; the finance person - I think they let a college intern practice on me. We got 3/4 of the way though the deal and another finance person had to come in and redo everything. So, 2 days later I get a call saying that some of the paperwork was fill out wrong and I needed to come in and resign it. I live 40 minutes away in good traffic, and there is never good traffic, but I go in resign the papers. After 30 days I am looking for my hard tags, so I drive in and ask about them. They nonchalantly tell me that they are not there and print some more temp tags. 30 more days go by and still no tags. So, I drive out to the dealership one more time. And again They nonchalantly tell me that the hard tags are not there and to wait in the corner while they look into it. I decided not to wait in the corner, but to stand in the middle of the showroom. While standing there, I took out my phone and started typing. A salesman who knew why I was there saw me typing and asked, " Are you writing a review". I showed him my phone and said "of course I am." 2 minutes later, the head finance person and the person in charge of tags and title were there.

I am so glad a went back a year later to work with Ayesha. She was amazing. I couldn't be happier with my experience with her at Sheehy Honda.

Although a past experience with service was not pleasant, my most recent service was enjoyable. I appreciate the manager, Rachael, and Enzo Ventura for their leadership and customer Care.

After Sheehy Honda of Alexandria did my last oil change, a leak suddenly appeared. They quoted me $900 to fix it. A local mechanic fixed it with a simple drain plug replacement for under $50. Now, on my next scheduled oil change (which I prepaid for through their VIP membership), I waited four hours only to be told they wouldn't do the work unless I paid that $900 again. They created the problem, misdiagnosed it, and are now holding my prepaid service hostage. Four hours wasted. Zero work done. Unacceptable.
