I bought a2013 jaguar xj in on July 2 2023 online my dream car had it delivered Amit the salesman said your beautiful jaguar is on its way I received the car it looked it was parked in field under a tree for months sap all over from the tree rest on the so called chrome rims! Went to start the beautiful jaguar dead battery bought a new battery $350.00 started the engine it sure didn’t sound right!! Towed it to the mechanic he told me the super charger was bad and the timing chain is bad got a second opinion same answer! Only 67,500 miles I also questioned that so i call salesman he said because I bought it as is nothing we will do about the car i said i trusted you since I live 8 hours away that the car would be sent in perfect condition well $6,800 To get it running right and the new tires he said that we’re put on weren’t new plus other small problems in closing I paid 23,000 dollars for a beautiful jaguar I thought so you be the judge of buying a car from auto by design!!

I just recently purchased a 2015 Porsche Boxter online after seeing the car via FaceTime and Cars.com. Sealed the deal. Signed the papers. Sent in my money. The Car is delivered. Well I have had the car going on 2 to 3 weeks. I noticed the front center bumper does not stay in place as if it was never secured. Contacted dealership and was told 3 times, ‘You brought a pre-owned vehicle’. Who would not know they brought a used car more than the customer. Well I made the attempt to even include the statement I know the owner would not like this. I was arrogantly supplied via email the owner’s telephone number. Ok I went to start the registration process of the car. Took off work, went to MVA and was told I could not register the car because I do not have a title. Called dealership and was told then that the title was behind. Dealership offered me to overnight another set of temp tags and registration. Back to the center bumper. Attempted several times to reach out to dealership. I only got that feeling. Do not bother me I have sealed the deal and can’t help you with the bumper. Ok o said I will take the car in for them to look at this grill issue told If you do make an appointment and we will take a look at it but it may cost you $149.00 to take a look at it. Wait you said during sales pitch and posted on Website “ For a PEACE of MIND Enjoy our FREE 90 DAY DEALER WARRANTY*** We want to provide you with exceptional value and to ensure your complete satisfaction for miles to come. Please ask your representatives for more information” Being told before purchase that the car would pass MD inspection, well it failed due to front rotors. Took the Porsche to repair shop to install new front rotors out $1200. Car finally passed MD inspection. It’s now Sept 15 my 2nd set of 30 day temp tags going to expire on 22nd. No title still can not register the car in MD. Exhaling. The buying process was easy after inquiring of minor issues get that feeling WE GOT YOUR BUSINESS NOW GO AWAY, WE OWE YOU NOTHING.

I bought a 2006 911 and the service department has gone above and beyond to assure that any issues with my purchase have been taken care of. They sold me a car with some age but have made sure to take care of every issue that has surfaced since my purchase. They have been responsive and accommodating.
