Waste of Time.
Waste of Time. Drove 2.5 hrs.' to see the vehicle they had confirmed was available. When i showed up they let me know vehicle has been sold a few weeks back. Like seriously? No other vehicle available similar. total of 5 hrs wasted. will not do that again....

I don't recommend this dealership.
I don't recommend this dealership. They show cars in their inventory they don't have. After seeing a car I was interested in and confirming by email they still had it. I drove over 100 miles to buy it only to find they didn't have it, nor did they have any inventory for that model.

BAIT AND SWITCH!
BAIT AND SWITCH! Avoid! This dealership is horrible. Check out the recent reviews before going. I went. They pulled the classic bait and switch. Said it was there, but it wasn’t. Tried to sell me a more expensive one. Other reviewers say they force buyers into “mandatory” add-ons, and pull other shady scams. I walked out of there wishing I’d looked at the reviews first. Avoid!

Mixed review.
Mixed review. Sometimes they were able to solve the problem, other times they blamed the driver. When I got Subaru of America involved, they helped me more and solved the problems.

Kevin is an excellent communicator, explaining what service is needed for my car. He is personable and reassuring. The car is returned clean without left-over materials from the techs. I also liked having a ride home while my car was being serviced.

Terrible communication - Empty promises - Sketchy
Terrible communication - Empty promises - Sketchy dealership altogether. I emailed the Downtown Toyota of Oakland to inquire about a car, and they called me immediately saying they had the car - they could give me VIP treatment by handling my trade in and sale of the car all in one quick appointment. “We want to send you off the lot in the car you want, we’re excited to be in business with you”. He set me up with an appointment the next morning. I got there, and they’d didn’t even keep the appointment time - the salesman took a walk in right ahead of me so I had to wait 30 min for the next guy to come in. And once we finally got seated at the desk, they didn’t even have the car there!!! Why couldn’t the checkin person have checked on this while I waited?? Anyway, They said it would be coming in later that week. How could I trade in my car and not have a car to drive away in? So the salesman apologized and showed us out. Then the manager called me later and asked why I hadn’t purchased it. So I told them that the initial dealer lied to me by saying they had the car to get me into the office and then when I got to the office, they hadn’t even offered me to prepurchase the car as an option. I just drove 3 hours round trip to Oakland for nothing, so I will never be returning, they’re terrible.
