The team at Thompson’s are great. The process was so easy and quick. I highly recommend them. I had a long drive to their dealership and we were able to come to an agreement over the phone on price. I don’t know if that would have been possible elsewhere.

Update: Nothing about my initial experience has changed but I did receive appropriate and prompt attention to my problem after making my complaint repeatedly known to the dealer. They have fully addressed my concerns and have taken concrete steps to rectify my issues and bring my car back to full working condition. I had to negotiate like crazy with an argumentative sales associate to get a second key in my deal. Dealer never provided second key (deal closed almost 4 months ago). Followed up 3 months later (2 months and 2 weeks after the key was supposed to be delivered) when I really needed second key hoping they had ordered it and just never called. Never ordered and now will take an eternity to get there. I now have no keys and will be waiting at least 7 business days to get any key. I will also have to pay out of packet or use my own roadside to tow my VERY expensive driveway brick to the dealer to get the key programed. I bought a Yukon from them 5 years ago and was excited to come back because of the positive experience I had. Obviously that was a mistake. Argumentative salves person, unhelpful service department and in inept deal closure department that NEVER did its job. This dealership is not the one I bought a car from before. Thompson do your job. Don't withhold waybill items (intentionally or unintentionally) from customers. They are either negotiated parts of the deal or things we have paid for at sale. They are legally ours and getting upset with us about you not doing your job is a nail in the coffin issue for me.

So I was actually there selling a used truck to them. I found Thompsons on the internet searching for a very specific Dodge truck that they did not have and received excellent customer service from Nicole in sales. She introduced me to Cameron who assisted me in getting things arranged to sell my truck and he was, once again, excellent in his customer service. The only day I could make it to bring the truck in was a day that Cameron couldn't be there so he arranged for me to meet with Mark Zigler (Hope I didn't misspell his name). And again, I was met with a very comfortable environment and they treat you like family. Mark's customer service level is something all dealerships need to take note of. Above and beyond in all areas. Our transaction was quick yet unhurried and very thorough. He explained everything to me so I could understand it. When I was done and waiting for a car service to pick me up, Mark noticed I had some special license plate frames and brought out a screw gun, removed them and I was able to keep both of them, that were gifts, and didn't realize I was forgetting them. What a group here at Thompsons. A I did not see that coming. ~Mark H

First of all I wanted to say how happy I’m with my car! And the customer service here at The dealership was very professional. Kyle was my sales person and he was phenomenal - THANK YOU SO MUCH. I called looking for a white At4 and he made it happened within couple days. Along with the finance manager Tyler another phenomenal person! Made everything super smooth. They had the truck ready our paper work ready - it was an easy headache free transaction. Again, thank you both so much! I highly recommend the team.

We just purchased our 2020 GMC Terrain from Thompson Buick GMC in Placerville. Our salesman Kyle Ryan was extremely helpful, he took the time to send us new videos of our GMC so there were no surprises when we drove the 100 miles to pick up our new GMC. Kyle and Thompson’s GMC was a refreshing change from our prior day of car shopping at another dealership in the Bay Area that only wanted to sell us a car and not to earn customer! I will definitely return if I need to buy another car well worth the drive!
