Powertrain warranty truly amazing
On a road trip my 2010 Mazda5 engine blew in the middle of Wisconsin. I spent thousands of dollars getting it towed back to Oregon to get the repairs done at Coos Bay Toyota even though I wasn't sure if it was covered under warranty. I waited patiently for Toyota to review my case and decide if the repairs were covered under their Lifetime Power train Warranty. Amazingly, April called and said Coos Bay Toyota would cover the cost of a replacement engine. After replacing the engine other problems were discovered but in the end the only cost to me was a new battery! I can't thank them enough for all the hard work they have done to get my car back on the road. When the time comes I will definitely be purchasing my next vehicle here.

Addendum
It’s a long story: left our old Sienna as trade in, keys went missing, …, a long story cut short by one competent sales manager. In two minutes Glen fixed the problem that wasn’t his. For a new or old Toyota, you could not find a better dealership.

A pleasant way to buy a car
We bought a Sienna through the Costco program and had a very pleasant experience. Sheri shepherded us through the entire process with ease and grace. Steve finalized the purchase in a straightforward, thorough, and friendly manner. Amanda completed the financial details, and though required to describe the various options for extended service and warranties, she did so without applying any pressure.

The whole service department goes above and beyond
My family is from Eugene, so when it comes to stuff like buying vehicles and getting them maintenanced, that's where we go. I have a new camry that needed it's first oil change and did not have the time to travel to Eugene, so I made an appointment at the Coos Bay Toyota. I was surprised they could get me in that same day. Unfortunately I was about 15 minutes late to my appointment since I was held up at my son's doctor's appointment. I was afraid my appointment would be canceled, but they were so polite and told me they would still take care of me NO PROBLEM. Come to find out the gentleman worked through his lunch break to make sure my car got done. About an hour later my car was finished, and when I went to pick up the keys from the nice lady at the front desk, she told me her and the other woman at the front desk were the ones who went out and washed my car since they were so busy. I was so impressed! I didn't even know they washed your car for you when they were done changing your oil. Everyone was so kind, and they even called me the next day to make sure everything went okay. As a single parent working full time and going to school full time, they completely made my day. I will be taking my car to them from now on.

Getting a run down on repairs for 92 Pickup
I am impressed with the attention and respect I have been given as a customer. I have been directly followed up with and intermittently checked with through out the process of brining my truck in to get it road ready. Thank you Paul! Car Rentals
This is the worst service I have ever gotten from a rental car service ever. When I called to make a complaint, the response was; "It is what it is". How unprofessional is that. I rented a car over the weekend. First off I was to pick up the car Friday morning at 8:30. When I got there the car was not ready and I was told it would only be a few minutes, the car had not been washed and was not ready to go. Forty-five minutes later after pushing the car was ready. This stressed me out because I had a doctors appt out of town 6 1/2 hours later, leaving the driving time at 5 hrs. The car was rented for four days (to be returned the following Moonday before 5pm. When I got to my destination I found out that the second doctors appt for Monday had been cancelled. I called the car dealer and asked "if I returned the car early would I get a refund"?. I was told absolutely!. I drove the car back and had the rental back at the dealer the following day at 4:30pm. I found out when I got there the rental shop had closed at 2pm. No one told me that when I called? I made sure the dealership knew the car was back. On Monday I called to find out about y refund and was told, no you dont get a refund, you signed a contract. I explained the situation and was told, she would talk with the manager and get back with me (this is Haley and Heather Im talking with), but said you know it is what it is and I signed a contracct. She never got back to me and I was charged for three days instead of 4 because the dealership was not open on Sundays, even though they verified the car was back. So all in all, I was charged $204.00 for a car that I had for 1 and 1/2 days. So whoever the manager is of this Coos Bay Toyota, you may want to talk with your employees and explain curtousy for one and the service you give your clients and how they are treated are passed on to other people around them. Coos Bay is a small town and I will definately pass on my experience with Toyota, after all "it is what it is". Not only will I not rent fromm you again, but if I ever go looking for a car, I will head to the closet dealer outside of the town.The drive would be worth it just to get a little descentsy.

I am so sorry for you poor experience. There are no excuses for not having your rental ready at the time promised. Also I am very sorry for the misunderstanding about return. Having a doctors appointment so far away is stressful enough and then being delayed is awful. If you will contact me at lee@coosbaytoyota.com to confirm your address I will mail a refund of the entire $203.85 to the address on the rental order. From time to time we all make mistakes, so please forgive our error. I hope you will reconsider and I would love to take care of any of your future vehicle needs personally. Fantastic Buying Experience!!!!
My Credit Union gave me the names of 3 dealerships they work with and I did a lot of online checking and reading evaluations. Originally, I planned on another SUV, but I'd ridden in a friend's Prius and at least three other friends had one so I chose the lift back since I use a walker at times. Summer was my Sales Representative and was so conscientious in making sure I knew the basics before even leaving the lot. I didn't have a particular color in mind so she brought me one in "Sea Glass Pearl" which is beautiful!!! Lots of compliments on that!. Doesn't show dirt easily, either! She offered me a Prius 3 originally, but I am cautious about too much technology and changed to a Prius 2, which was not a problem for her. There were incentives by Toyota and Rick Brown "crunched" the number to make sure I got the ultimate best deal. Have never before had such a pleasant car buying experience and will recommend Coos Bay Toyota to my friends!! And the reviews of other customers on their experiences was one of the reasons I chose to shop here.

Overall Superior Purchase Experience
Our purchase experience was best ever with clear information, fair negotiations, support to get the vehicle we wanted located and delivered in a timely manner. Dealership offers great follow up in a location that we enjoyed visiting prior to buying - it contributed to our trust of the dealership. Every employee from those at their endearing Laughing Dog food service bar to the vehicle service area and including the comfortable amenities of their waiting area (including the presence of well-behaved dogs and computers for customer use) are trained to make this a full-service dealership that keeps customer satisfaction in mind as a first priority. The greeters at the front door were always ready with a smile, our names once we purchased, and ready to get us in contact with staff we needed to talk with. With TV, comfortable chairs, a fireplace to take off any winter chill, tables and chairs for the eating area and plenty of room make visiting a pleasure. We also get a free car wash any time we wish. We actually stop in just for lunch!
