We do not live in Washington state but attempted to buy a car from Klein Honda. They knew we were from out of state. After talking with them multiple times, we made an offer to them and were prepared to travel to Klein Honda the next day. The following day they told me they do not sell to out of state residents. Why didn't they tell me this when they first learned I was not a Washington state resident? I would say it is very poor sales department.

Hi, everyone.

Hi, everyone. I would like to share my experience with Klein Honda in Everett . In July 2024 I came in with a problem with the front sensor camera on my 2015 Honda Acord not working. I was offered a diagnosis, I agreed, paid $200 and was told that the camera will arrive on Saturday, I came and left the car. A few hours later they called me and said that they could not repair the problem, because the problem is not in the camera, and they made an order and that I would come next Saturday. I brought the car and a few hours later they called me and said they apologized for the problem. The part came from a supplier in an open box and they do not install parts from open boxes. And they said they would let me know when the part arrived. On 11/20/2024 I went to the company's service department and asked about my problem, the guy at the front desk replied that the part is no longer manufactured by Honda. With this answer I was surprised..... I asked to the 2015 car and no parts he seriously looking me in the face answered:- NO. He brazenly lied. Be careful with Klein Honda in Everett.

I have been taking my Hondas to Klein Honda for the past

I have been taking my Hondas to Klein Honda for the past several years. I have purchased two Hondas from them and had good experiences each time. Gary Moore in the service department always does a great job getting my cars in and keeping me informed of what work is being done on them. He makes good recommendations that I can trust.

Rude Manager

Spoke with the manager - was super rude. They know nothing about customer service, basic decency or price transparency. They want to lure you in to the store so they can trick you into paying more than advertised. Don’t waste your time!

Top notch sales department!

Let me start off by saying looked at several cars and worked with several dealerships, I did a lot of online research. When I contacted Klein their internet department, Caitlin, kept me very informed and answered all my questions. By the time I was ready to buy, I had it narrowed to two cars at their lot. I travelled from Bremerton to Everett because of the service and attention. Good job Klein, your staff is top notch! I am very pleased with my car and all the great safety features. Thank you Sincerely, Rhonda

Beware- Sleazy Business Tactics

Before you sit in the financial office to purchase a car at Klein Honda, beware. Especially if the guy who ends up asking for your signature on any documents is Mark Larson. When my fiancé and I first sat down in his office, he told us that his goal was to get us out in 10 minutes which turned out wasn’t actually a favor to us but rather, a sleazy business tactic he used to get us to sign papers quickly so we’d miss that he had snuck in a cost for a karr alarm for $450 instead of the $120 he insinuated it would cost out loud. I saw this on the receipt while doing taxes and kindly emailed asking him to refund the difference only to be sent a bogus response that made zero sense. After more BS emails, I got a call from a fiscal manager who couldn’t explain any math of how the heck $120 turned into $450 on the receipt, and he told me I could either keep it as is or have them uninstall the entire thing for a full refund. I had the latter done and it took another couple weeks and multiple email reminders for Mark Larson to finally have the difference refunded to my account. Watch out for these sleazy business tactics and bogus financial explanations they use to try and pull a fast one on you.

Not transparent with warranty specs

2 staff initially provided good info. First one in addressing my lifetime warranty questions clearly confirmed it applied to new and used cars at Klein Honda. In talking with the second person he addressed all my questions. He seemed very pressured to get a sale, often saying please come today, I felt pressured. My last question after talking about used crvs at length was does the lifetime warranty apply to used vehicles...no! Only if certified and $25k or more. Would've saved me lots of time and hope had the first salesman conveyed that truth, and the second sales person wouldn't have mentioned it had I not asked. They didn't have my back. They both were motivated to get a sale, not to inform me and serve my needs. When I sent the first staff member an email explaining my frustration, he didn't apologize, he said something like you may have talked to different person, please come in so we can sell you a car! I have a bad taste in mouth after this dissatisfying disappointing experience!

BAD SERVICE

Klein Honda replaced my transmission in my 2001 Honda CRV. They failed to identify the problem and did unnecessary repairs as the service they provided was incorrect. My car still has the same problems as it came in with. I had brought the car in for them to fix their mistake. It took them two weeks and did not fix the problem, then proceeded to tell me I needed to purchase additional parts for them to install to fix the problem. Klein Honda then proceeded to tell me to drive the car as everything is mechanically safe then not more then a day later the car failed to operate in the middle of a busy road. I have brought it in 4 times already and is currently in their shop. I do not have confidence they will fix it so I feel scammed out of 3,500$ as they did not fix the issue. I keep hearing stories from ex employees on how they operate and honestly it is a horrible place for service. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
