Not the most helpful General Manager
I reticently had the displeasure of buying a car from Her Chambers Hyundai of Auburn. I had some issues after the sale and it took almost 4 weeks to resolve. The sales man, sales manager and general manager all made me felt like they couldn't be bothered to help me resolve the issue. It wasn't until I contacted Herb Chambers home office and Hyundai corporate office that the matter got resolved. It was a very frustrating 4 weeks and all they offered me for my trouble was a free oil change. Really? I will never do business with any of the Heb Chambers dealerships again. Oh and the finance manager lied to me telling me that I had to keep my loan with Hyundai finance for at least 3 months or they would charge me back for the rebates I received. According to Hyundai finance this was not true. The dealership lied about this so they would get a kickback on the astronomical high interest rate they made me take as a loan on this car.

The reason I bought another car from Herb Chambers
I had a horrible buying experience at Herb Chambers of Millbury and swore I would never buy another vehicle from them. Then I met Matry at their Hyundai dealership in Auburn and he changed all that. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience. I know I will be definitely go to him again when I need another new car.

Love the car, Dealership was great
Worked with GM Rusty Clifford to find the right car and price, Meagan Marquis was a great Sales Consultant, Rick was okay (just kidding Rick). No lengthy process. Hyundai Sonata SEL with Tech package was what I wanted. Very happy with front end experience. Will follow up at back end once I need service.

Warranty issues
After my warranty company assured me that they had worked out the issues with the coverage and that Hyundai of Auburn would be able to do the service now Matt is making it impossible for my warranty provider to get in touch with him to straighten out the coverage and fix the issues.

Unfortunately, your maintenance service contract company will not allow us to do the work. They are claiming that only the dealership where the vehicle was purchased can perform the work. We have spoken to this contract company a few times over the phone when you have been in our dealership, but since those times they will not call us back, or follow up with us. We are more than happy to service your vehicle, but the contract company will not allow it under their terms. He was trying to get in contact to straightening out with you and then you left to Connecticut and they say they are fine with the service in your dealer. He called three times while you were in the office called me that he spoke with the receptionist and left a message and then i saw you leave and was told you'd be out for 2 hours even though i saw you were advised. So leave the B.S. at the door you dont want to use my matenaince plan, the company is happy to do it and there are many complaints on Hyundai of Auburn not wanting to do warranty work.
Outstanding Experience
I’ve purchased many cars over the years from the high end Porsche/Audi types as well as Ford and Subaru. My experience with this dealership and salesperson, Steve Miller, was outstanding. I walked in and 3 hours later left with a 2019 Genesis G70. The excellent experience prompted me to message the CEO of Genesis on LinkedIn to share it as well as let him know what an awesome car the G70 is!

Great Customer service
Employees at this dealership were very friendly. I had worked with Marty Reardon, to help me find a vehicle that fit my needs. Marty knew everything about the vehicles I wanted to look at and overall made my shopping experience a great one. I ended up leaving with a great car at a good price. Thanks Marty!

I was terrified walking in here...medical illness, terrified of trying to “work things out”-but Michael worked it all out. My heartfelt thanks to a really nice man. I’m glad he was the person who helped me (and yes, it’s a business, and Herb Chambers wants/needs to make money, but my instincts tell me Michael did the best he could, and really helped me in a difficult situation).
