I visited Libertyville Libertyville Nissan service department on may 17th 20 21for a oil change on my 2020 Murano which I purchased in June 2020. This place is a RIP off artist, the vehicle only has ten thousand miles on it this was my second oil change and the gentleman who checked me in comes to me and says the service technician recommends that i change my BRAKE FLUID i looked at him and said the vehicle ONLY had ten thousand miles on it. Here is where the lies come in. He says because I have a (ABS) brake system and dirt can get in the system and contaminate the BRAKE FLUID. I told him Im mechanically incline and refused that pictecler service which I checked when I got home. The BRAKE FLUID was just like new not even low. Which I checked before I even went to get the oil change. The bottom line is THEY TRIED TO SALE ME A SERVICE I DIDN'T NEED. FUTHER MORE I CALL BACK TO COMPLAIN AND TALK TO A FEMALE Consultant and her reply was she would make a note about my SERVICE COMPLAINT. HAHA I WILL PAY FOR MY OIL CHANGES FOR NOW ON.

Q was AMAZING!!!
We flew all the way from Nashville TN to look at a used VW Jetta. Upon arriving Q had the car pulled up and in prestige condition. He made the purchase of this vehicle so beyond easy for us! Thank you for all of your help in this 24 hour turn around! We will continue to buy from him through out the years.

WHY HAVE ONLINE PRICE?
I found the vehicle I was interested in online at Cars.com. I placed an online inquiry and within a few minutes I received a call from the internet sales manager named Christian. I asked about the vehicle I was interested in and he said there were 3 instock but only 2 that fit what I was looking for. We set a time for me to come in and view the vehicle. I arrived about 15 minutes before my 1130am appointment and was entering with a friendly sales person who was very helpful. He checked with management and they told him to take care of me. He found that only 1 of the 3 vehicles remained. I asked the price and just as it showed online. It was 41,300. I test drove it and decided i wanted to continue and purchase the vehicle. He checked with the sales manager and came back saying I could put $2000 down and I would have 75 payments of 860. I asked what interest rate could that be that has the price so inflated? He explained they haven't even look at the interest rate yet that would be the cost. I said that is about 12 000 more than the price listed online. He got the sales manager and he came in and said it was actually only $9,000 over list, he said this was sales and he had to start somewhere. He said it was a popular vehicle and they started the week with 10 and this is the last one left. So why is it online for $41,300 and you are attempting to sale ot for $50,000? If you want to sale it for $50,000 simply list it at that price. I explained to him I asked the internet sales manager the price over the phone and he confirmed it. His response was that those are high school kids whose job is to simply get people into the dealership. This is why sales people get bad names. This is a horrible business practice and misleading. If the online price would have said $50000 then I would not have wasted the trip to the dealership as that is not in my price range. I feel deceived and lied to, I wonder what other lies they are telling to people.

We went in to Liberty Kia to test drive and purchase a new Kia Telluride. Long story short, don’t waste your time if you are going to buy a Telluride. Purchase from another Kia dealership. They will waste your time. After asking what the price of 2 Tellurides were, they pencilled a deal that was $15k over list. The sales manager came over to give us his poor excuse for his price gauging. “Supply and demand”. So much for integrity and honesty. We will be purchasing elsewhere and we will be negotiating off the list price, not an inflated number like you’ll get at Liberty Kia.

Good sales experience
We had a lukewarm experience connecting with sales via phone, but we had a wonderful experience with sales person Quinton in person. He made the process as quick as possible and was flexible in accommodating our rather chaotic family.

Not sure how they sell cars at all?
We found a vehicle we liked listed on cars.com. I first called the salesperson listed on the listing, no answer so I left a voicemail. No return call. I called the dealership main phone line the next day. spoke to a woman who verified the price. I told her we lived out of town but we would like to proceed in getting the financing started for purchase. She told me someone else could help get this going and forwarded the call, again no answer so I left another message stating we would like to purchase the car. NO RETURN CALL? Seems like they do no want to sell you a car. Ownership should be very concerned with this as you have customers asking to buy a vehicle and are basically ignored.

False Advertising
Went in to check out a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum listed as “new” for $32,000 online and loved the car. We realized that the car had almost 6,000 miles on it, which, was not listed on the website. We were then told their IT department forgot to update the site. Sat down with the sales rep and I let him know right away that we already had financing. He continued to ask whose name the car will be under when I finally said it doesn’t matter because we have our own financing. After that he stated they couldn’t sell us the car for $32,000 unless we used them to finance. They bumped the price up to $36,000 and told us it would be $42,000 out the door. Prior to that they wanted me to sign a blank document that lists the trade in price and sales price because I told them AGAIN I wasn’t financing through them. After that the sales rep said “well you can finance through us then refinance after the sale.” What moron would do that? My wife and I walked out after they came in extremely low on our trade-in and wouldn’t budge on their price. My advice, stay away from this place as they’re more concerned about making a buck than establishing a relationship with their customers.
