They bent over backwards to sell me the vehicle and the warranty with it BUT when I had engine trouble they try to charge me thousands even with my warranty!! The staff in the service dept are like salesmen trying to get as much money as they can from you…very disappointing. I would question every single thing they want to do to your vehicle or they’ll just do it without your permission and charge you astronomical prices.

Please reach out at your earliest convenience. Thank you, James DeVasto - Service Manager - 781-277-2272
I've tried several times to speak to the service manager but he was never in the office and never responded to my voice mail. What a joke!! Doesn't surprise me though.
Good Brothers tried to fleece my 85 year old mother out
Good Brothers tried to fleece my 85 year old mother out of $10,000. My mother purchased her Plymouth mini-van at Good Brothers 10 years ago and has been using them for service with good result. She decided recently that it was time to get a new (to her) vehicle. They had a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica on the lot. My mother asked me to work with the dealer to negotiate the deal. I worked with Gerry Good and came to a fair number and we moved forward on the purchase. Gerry seemed like a fair, straightforward guy. I emphasized to him that my mother was 85 years old, a recent widow, and not really comfortable with financial transactions. Hence my handling the negotiations. I expected the sales agreement would reflect to the penny the quote that he gave me on 12/26/23. Two days later she went to the dealership, signed the sales agreement, and took possession of the vehicle. When I reviewed the sales agreement however, I found that they had added in just under $10,000 of add ons that my mother did not need or desire. She was unfortunately talked into them by Jack Hart, their finance person. The vehicle is a 2022, so it has the balance of the warranty remaining. As it is a CPO, it has an extended powertrain warranty as well. Given that, why would they sell her a $7763 service agreement? This for a woman who drives 5000 miles a year. They also sold her on a $1200 "gap coverage" insurance policy. As she was buying an already depreciated used vehicle there was no reason to even mention that product. Finally, they sold her some kind of aftermarket alarm system. Rather than put it in as a line item, they increased the sales price of the car, as if burying it there would avoid detection. When I discovered this I sent a blistering email to Gerry Good, and also him a copy of a durable power of attorney which allows me to handle any property and financial affairs for my mother. After a brief discussion on the phone with Gerry Good in the morning both he and Jack Hart refused to speak with me, despite the fact I have power of attorney. When confronted with the fact that I can represent my mother through that document, Gerry Good's reaction was "I'm not a lawyer." I, and my mother, were told only she could come in and modify the terms of the agreement. Obviously they wanted the 85 year old victim of the scheme to deal with them instead of me. They refused to return calls or emails from me the entire day. Ultimately they removed the gap coverage and service agreement from the transaction. They refused to remove, or even acknowledge the alarm system. It was not on the sales agreement and my mother did not receive any documentation on this device whatsoever. I did ascertain that a similar alarm (from a company named Drone) is available at Best Buy for $149 and installs in minutes. They charged my mother over $900. She had no compelling need for this device - the sale was simply to put money in the dealer's pocket. So they did waive around $9000 of the $10,000 of add ons. There is still the matter of the alarm system and the rather blatant question of why they sold these in the first place? If I had not caught the discrepancies on the sales agreement then my mother would have been out $10,000. I find it rather pathetic that they tried to fleece an 85 year old woman out of her savings. Scammers talk seniors out of their money all of the time and are labelled criminals. Just because this incident happened during the course of a normal business transaction doesn't make it any different. Stealing is stealing, so if you go near this place hold onto your wallet, or better yet go someplace else. I expect their on line response to be "your mother agreed to these items and signed the sales agreement. True enough but only because she was sold a bill of goods from a conniving finance person, who changed the terms of an already agreed upon sale. Victim blaming doesn't cut it. Buyer beware.
